Columnist: ‘Mainstream’ media no longer ‘journalists,’ they’re ‘ACTIVISTS’

(National SentinelMedia Matters: A columnist for the Washington Examiner has taken the so-called ‘mainstream media’ to task for its warped, overtly biased coverage of today’s top political figures, noting that most are no longer “journalists” but really are just “activists.”

“The Washington Post, New York Times, and USA Today still refuse to employ a single columnist that won’t begin each piece with anything less than, ‘Mr. Trump, you are a liar!’ wrote Eddie Scarry in December.

He noted that in his view, the only major “mainstream” newspaper that provides “anything that even looks sort of like a reasonable perspective on the still-young White House” is The Wall Street Journal opinion page.

Scarry noted further:

CNN this year had to retract one story and significantly modify a second one (both were related to Trump and Russia) after it turned out the former wasn’t supported by any facts (otherwise often referred to as “fiction”) and the latter was inaccurate to the point of libel.

Brian Ross, with his apparent lifetime tenure at ABC News, was suspended in early December after he once again reported catastrophically wrong information about Trump and, of course, Russia.

And as if on cue, The New York Times on Saturday ran a lengthy story praising MSNBC host Joy Reid as a leader of the “resistance.” She has been extremely critical of President Donald J. Trump even to the point of becoming shooing pro-Trump guests off her show.

She, too, has persisted in pushing the “Russian collusion” narrative despite there being no evidence the Trump campaign and Moscow worked in tandem to defeat Hillary Clinton — after nearly two years’ worth of investigating by federal authorities and Congress.

Scarry noted in his column some “truths” about today’s major media:

— “Activism” at most news outlets is now acceptable, especially if it is Left-leaning activism:

CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta, who saved democracy when he challenged the administration’s immigration plan by quoting a cliche poem, said in a radio interview that the media need “a different kind of playbook” when it comes to covering Trump. Like an old lady who feels sassy ordering a Sex on the Beach, Acosta defined his new journalism rules as, “That means at times, you know, I bring a little attitude to what I do on a daily basis.” Acosta may be harmless on his own, but when the sea of media decide to rewrite the standards for covering a presidency, to assume an “attitude,” it’s time to accept that they’re no longer journalists. They’re activists.

— “Everything Trump says is controversial,” even when said ‘controversy’ has to be invented by the media:

In September 2016, then-President Obama acknowledged that now-former NFL Quarterback Colin Kaepernick may be kneeling for the national anthem in earnest, but he said that Kaepernick should “listen to the pain that that may cause somebody who, for example, had a spouse or a child who was killed in combat.” It wasn’t controversial to stand up for the country’s most recognized symbol until Trump did it, at which point it became racist. The Washington Post’s liberal blogger Greg Sargent said Trump’s criticism of NFL players kneeling fit into a pattern of attacking “high-profile African Americans to feed his supporters’ belief that the system is rigged for minorities.” The NFL is not an exclusively black league, and patriotism isn’t racially divisive, but that’s a nuance that doesn’t feed a fake controversy instigated by reporters.

— “Willful ignorance isn’t a bug, it’s a feature,” he wrote, explaining:

It’s possible to actually earn prestige in the national media, a field that formerly required an ongoing thirst for knowledge and understanding, by refusing to learn new things. In November of last year, New York Times columnist Charles Blow bragged that he refused to meet with then-President-elect Trump after the election, though he had come to the Times newsroom for an interview with staff. It’s more important for Blow that he stay ignorantly angry rather than learn anything that might change his mind from a face-to-face meeting. And if there is information readily available that disrupts the media’s enduring suspicion that Trump is a closet klansman, writers find it best to simply ignore it.

Left-wing HACK journalist tweets college professors should DROWN conservative students

(National SentinelFringe: A Left-wing former contributor to Deadspin gave a harsh response to a conservative activist who tweeted out that conservative students on college campuses are treated unfairly by liberal professors who dominate most institutions.

“I get countless of messages from students who say professors are lowering their grades & penalizing them for being conservative,” Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA tweeted Wednesday. “Leftists dominating higher education represent a grave threat to our country & culture.

“Conservative students shouldn’t be targeted for disagreeing,” he added.

That tweet earned him a now-deleted response from Jesse Farrar, formerly of Deadspin and Vice, who wrote professors should instead “hold the conservative students heads under water until they stop breathing.”

Kirk responded: “I’m sure he is joking, but imagine if conservatives made a joke like that against liberals?”

“I am not joking,” Farrar wrote back, later deleting the tweet.

Kirk told Fox News the response “stunned” him. “He’s calling for the public death of conservative students,” he added. “They disagree with our worldview so much that [liberals] literally want us dead.”

Deadspin was contacted about Farrar’s comment by the Independent Review-Journal, and Deputy Editor Barry Petchesky said that while he didn’t agree with Farrar’s “method,” he said, “I can’t argue that it wouldn’t make the world a better place,” Fox News reported.

“So, mass genocide of conservative students would make the world a better place,” Kirk noted.

J. D. Heyes, editor-in-chief of The National Sentinel, noted that liberal journalists in the U.S. today are actually doing Americans a favor by revealing their true identities.

“In the age of Trump, these bozos are doing a full-reveal and letting us see them for the anti-American shills they’ve always been,” he said. “What’s more, people like this are taking over the Democratic Party, with the party’s blessing.

“Maybe now it’s easier to see why conservatives and Republicans in Congress should stop trying to ‘work with’ these Marxist lunatics who are openly advocating our deaths,” he added. “Imagine how it will be if they ever really do take power.”

The Pentagon Papers vs. the FISA Memo: That nostalgic time when the ‘mainstream media’ really GAVE A DAMN about government transparency

By J. D. Heyes, editor-in-chief

(National SentinelPoliticization: Last month a new movie hit theaters around the country starring, among others, Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep called “The Post.”

The movie is about, according to, “a cover-up that spanned four U.S. Presidents [and] pushed the country’s first female newspaper publisher and a hard-driving editor to join an unprecedented battle between the press and the government.”

The film traces the Washington Post’s reporting on the “Pentagon Papers,” which were officially titled, “United States – Vietnam Relations, 1945–1967: A Study Prepared by the Department of Defense.” The study, which was conducted in secret without informing President Lyndon Johnson, was commissioned in 1967 by then-Defense Secretary Robert McNamara. The papers noted that the Johnson administration had systematically lied to the American people about its involvement in Vietnam.

Initially, the papers were released by Daniel Ellsberg, who had worked on the study; the existence of the papers was first reported in 1971 by The New York Times during the Nixon administration. The Times was threatened with legal action by the government and Ellsberg was charged with conspiracy, espionage, and theft of government property (charges that were later dismissed).

Soon after the Times report, the Post was given a copy of the Pentagon Papers by Ellsberg, who approached reporter Ben Bagdikian. He then brought the information to Post editor Ben Bradlee (played by Hanks in the film “The Post”). He subsequently informed the Post’s publisher, Kay Graham (played by Streep), and in short order, the decision was made to begin publishing a series of articles detailing the papers.

Assistant U.S. Attorney General William Rehnquist — later U.S. Supreme Court chief justice — asked the Post to cease publication, but the paper’s management refused. Rehnquist then asked a federal court to block the paper from publishing any additional materials taken from the papers but the court refused; the government appealed the case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, which ruled 6-3 on June 30, 1971, against the government and for the Post (and a dozen or so other papers that had begun publishing portions of the Pentagon Papers).

At the time the information contained in the Pentagon Papers was truly explosive. The country was still fighting the Vietnam War, tens of thousands of U.S. service personnel had already been killed, and it grew deeply unpopular the longer it went on. Throw into that mix the late 1960s-early 1970s social upheaval on college campuses against the old traditional order, and the discovery that the government had lied the entire time about its involvement in Southeast Asia was devastating to the country.

And yet, journalists back then correctly decided that the American people had the right know they had been duped by their government.

Today, however, some of the same media outlets are siding with Democrats against the release of a report — against transparency — that promises to be equally damaging to the American psyche: The so-called FISA Memo, which purports to show Obama-era abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in order to manipulate judges with a bogus “Trump dossier” in order to secure a warrant so Hillary Clinton-aligned operatives within FBI and DOJ could spy on the Trump campaign.

Yesterday’s quest for government transparency from the Times, the Post and other legacy media outlets has transformed into partisan attacks and calls for outright secrecy these days because the “wrong” political party is about to be implicated in a massive abuse of government institutions and the people’s trust.

Just to show you the difference between today’s Democrats and Democrats at the time the Pentagon Papers were making headlines, former U.S. Sen. Mike Gravel, D-Alaska, the lawmaker who introduced the Pentagon Papers to the public by entering them into the official Congressional Record, said Republicans will demonstrate “the height of cowardice” if they refuse to release the FISA memo.

My, how times have changed. If the Times, the Post, and a few other legacy media outlets were all that existed today, as was the case in 1971, Americans would never discover how badly they’ve been lied to — again — by their government. This is another reason to celebrate the independent media.

Poor Nancy Pelosi MELTS DOWN over GOP decision to release the FISA memo; goes off on CNN’s Chris Cuomo (Video)

(National SentinelUnhinged: House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., got angry at CNN host Chris Cuomo Monday evening during a discussion about the House Intelligence Committee’s decision to release the sensitive “FISA Memo.”

The memo purports to detail abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court by Obama-era officials in the FBI and Justice Department in order to obtain a warrant so they could spy on the Trump campaign.

Pelosi, during her interview, claimed that the memo is nothing more than a Republican fabrication of the truth, though it’s not clear she herself has read it.

“They have made up a memo that isn’t even true. And they’re lying to the American people,” Pelosi insisted to Cuomo, who responded, “What are you going to do about it?”

“The Republican Party has crossed over to cover up. They’re deadly afraid of the Russia investigation,” Pelosi replied.

Cuomo then pointed out that the head of the FBI, Christopher Wray, read the memo on Sunday, a day before FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe — who some believe was involved in a plot to thwart President Donald J. Trump’s candidacy and presidency — either resigned or was fired by Wray.

“Wray, who was recently selected by President Trump, he got the memo. He could have come out and said, ‘This is reckless, don’t release it,'” said the host.

“With all due respect, you really don’t know what you’re talking about right now,” Pelosi chided Cuomo.

The Intelligence Committee voted last week to release the memo to the full House, allowing any member who wanted to go read it in a secure location after signing a non-disclosure form.

So far, at least 190 Republicans have read the memo, but only 10 Democrats have bothered to do so.

Trump, like many of his supporters, believe the memo not only proves he was right to claim that the Obama administration “wiretapped” him, but that it will also show that special counsel Robert Mueller’s entire investigation was established on false premises.

“The four-page memo has being described by GOP lawmakers as ‘shocking,’ ‘troubling’ and ‘alarming’ with one congressman likening the details to KGB activity in Russia,” Fox News reported. “Those who have seen the document suggest it reveals what role the unverified anti-Trump ‘dossier’ played in the application for a surveillance warrant on at least one Trump associate.”

Carlson and Coulter DESTROY establishment media MYTH that ‘America LOVES Dreamers!’

(National SentinelLegal Immigration: On Tucker Carlson’s Fox News program Friday night, he and conservative author, pundit and lawyer Ann Coulter discussed and debunked statistics widely cited by the ‘mainstream’ media that most Americans support so-called “Dreamers” — illegal immigrants brought into the country by their parents.

Slamming “phony polls” that purport to show that most Americans back liberal immigration policies, Carlson noted that many lawmakers, including a sizable percentage of Republicans, seemingly ignore Americans’ concerns on the issue.

“There’s a deeper question about democracy here,” Tucker said.

“So, if the public has been clear in poll after poll about what it wants and what it doesn’t want on the question of immigration, and it went to the trouble of electing Donald Trump against all odds and all predictions, just to express that view, and it still can’t get what it demonstrably wants in immigration, is it possible for the public to have a say in this?”

“No, it’s amazing. I mean, it is beyond what you just described,” Coulter noted, as reported by The Daily Caller

“I was looking through Nexis transcripts today. The fact that Donald Trump is president–it was utterly implausible. It’s like a Hollywood movie. And this isn’t the first time,” she continued.

“You keep hearing these phony polls being being cited by the media, showing that American love Dreamers! They love them! Just like that one you interviewed, who couldn’t love her? They love them!”

She went onto note that recent polling indicates that a majority of Americans want less immigration — legal and illegal. Recently, the Trump administration “distributed a Harvard-Harris poll that showed Americans generally approve of the president’s immigration plan, believe people should enter legally, and that those who are allowed in should contribute to American life in a positive way,” the Washington Examiner reported.

“…[E]very time they have an actual ballot, every time, for 20 years now, [Americans] will vote against bail for illegals, against government services for illegals, they’ll vote for Donald Trump, they’ll vote for English as the national language,” said Coulter, author of several top-selling books including one on immigration called, “Adios, America.”

“This Harvard poll that just came out that shows more Americans would like zero immigration than our current immigration policy. But the way they pull off these phony polls, is by, I mean, I didn’t need to read Saul Alinsky to know this is not a good way to take a poll–they personalize it,” Coulter continued.

“They say do you want to support Juanita the maid? They make it about a specific person. No, I want questions like ‘Do you want more or less immigration?’ ‘Do you think people who break the law should be able to become citizens and start collecting welfare right away?’ ‘Do you think we should we be dumping millions of low-wage workers on the country?’”

Coulter then noted recent reports indicating that President Donald J. Trump may be supportive of a plan that gives many so-called DACA recipients -a slow but sure path to citizenship.

Rated #1 Consumer Reports

“Which is going to come back–I mean, Trump thinks he’s a genius and in some ways he is,” Coulter said. “He has an uncanny sense for what are popular issues, that’s why he won. He may be able to roll over the never-Trumpers, but if he continues down this line, former-Trumpers may be a much more difficult category for him.”

“We need an immigration time-out so we can assimilate those who are here, like we did throughout much of the 20th century,” editor-in-chief J. D. Heyes said.

Deep State DESPERATE: Leaks that Trump once ordered MUELLER fired as FISA memo drama heats up; Prez, in Davos, calls it what it IS

(National SentinelFake News: A report by The New York Times on Thursday claimed that President Donald J. Trump ordered White House counsel Don McGhan to fire special counsel Robert Mueller last summer, but that he refused to do so and said he would resign instead.

The paper noted:

The West Wing confrontation marks the first time Mr. Trump is known to have tried to fire the special counsel. Mr. Mueller learned about the episode in recent months as his investigators interviewed current and former senior White House officials in his inquiry into whether the president obstructed justice.

Amid the first wave of news media reports that Mr. Mueller was examining a possible obstruction case, the president began to argue that Mr. Mueller had three conflicts of interest that disqualified him from overseeing the investigation, two of the people said.

First, he claimed that a dispute years ago over fees at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Va., had prompted Mr. Mueller, the F.B.I. director at the time, to resign his membership. The president also said Mr. Mueller could not be impartial because he had most recently worked for the law firm that previously represented the president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Finally, the president said, Mr. Mueller had been interviewed to return as the F.B.I. director the day before he was appointed special counsel in May.

After receiving the president’s order to fire Mr. Mueller, the White House counsel, Donald F. McGahn II, refused to ask the Justice Department to dismiss the special counsel, saying he would quit instead, the people said.

From Davos, Switzerland, where the president is attempting to represent the United States on a world economic stage, Trump dismissed the report as more “fake news” from the Times, which has a history of publishing reports about the president and his administration that have turned out to be false.

The Times’ report is not the first claiming that Trump was seeking to fire Mueller.

Before Christmas, Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) sat down with KQED Newsroom and claimed President Trump was soon going to fire Mueller.

The California lawmaker then told KQED Newsroom, “The rumor on the Hill when I left yesterday was that the president was going to make a significant speech at the end of next week. And on December 22nd, when we are out of D.C., he was going to fire…Robert Mueller.”

That claim turned out to be false, as Mueller remains on the job.

Investigative journalist Mike Cernovich voiced his skepticism about the Times report on Twitter, saying it was a purposeful distraction from breaking news surrounding alleged illegality involving Obama-era FBI and Justice Department operatives who may have abused the FISA court to improperly spy on Trump’s campaign.

“50,000 “missing” texts are evidence admissible in a court of law. The ‘story’ about Trump – 4 unnamed sources (who had the same hearsay from one alleged source) – wouldn’t be used in any court. The story, as per usual, is leaked by deep state to distract from their corruption,” he tweeted.

Also, Sara A. Carter, Fox News contributor and an investigative journalist with Circa News, said sources have told her the contents of the memo are so “explosive” they could spell a quick end to Mueller’s probe of the Trump campaign and transition team.

SHOCK PHOTO of Obama with anti-Semitic Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan: NOT published by photog to SAVE future prez’s rep

(National SentinelBias: A shocking photo of a smiling then-Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., with anti-Semitic Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan taken in 2005 was purposely not published by the photographer.

The reason, Askia Muhammad told the Trice Edney News Wire, was because he did not want to harm Obama’s political future.

He says that if he had released the photo of Obama and Farrakhan at a Congressional Black Caucus meeting he believed it would have “made a difference” to Obama’s political future.

Instead, he “gave the picture up at the time and basically swore secrecy,” he said.

“But after the nomination was secured and all the way up until the inauguration; then for eight years after he was President, it was kept under cover,” Muhammad said, as noted by Talking Points Memo.

“I sort of understood what was going on,” Muhammad told TPM. “I promised and made arrangements to give the picture to Leonard Farrakhan,” the minister’s son-in-law and chief of staff.

“Realizing that I had given it up, I mean, it was sort of like a promise to keep the photograph secret,” Muhammad said.

When he was asked if he believed the photo would have made a difference in whether or not Obama’s political career would have advanced any further he said, “I insist. It absolutely would have made a difference.”

Click here to see the photo, which TPM published with the Muhammad’s permission.

Obama was regularly accused in some circles of being anti-Semitic during his presidency, for what some perceived as overly friendly relations with Islamic nations including Iran, while allowing the U.S. relationship with Israel to deteriorate.

In February Levin, on his daily radio show, blamed Obama for being an anti-Semite and the “biggest funder of terrorism the world has ever seen.”

“So, Obama is the biggest funder of terrorism the world has ever seen – $150 billion to the Islamo-nazis in Tehran. On top of that, another $1.7 billion or so in hard currency, flown into Tehran under cover of dark, for our hostages.”

Levin was responding to criticism in the media of President Donald J. Trump at the time, with some liberals describing him as anti-Semitic.

“Can someone show me anywhere at any time when Trump has demonstrated any level of anti-Semitism? It’s so absurd. It’s so absurd,” he said.

“The Democrat Party is now the party that breeds anti-Semitism. The Democrat Party is now the party that breeds Israel hate. The Democrat Party backed a man, Obama, who used the UN Security Council—They didn’t just vote; they were operating in the shadows behind the scenes. They used the UN Security Council to attack Israel’s security,” he said.

The National Sentinel‘s editor-in-chief, J. D. Heyes, said this is just another example of how the biased ‘mainstream media’ conspired to protect Obama at all costs.

“It’s no wonder the legacy media continues to be mistrusted and discounted by the American people,” he said, “and why news outlets like ours are growing.”

Even the far-Left Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks extremism, has labeled Farrakhan an anti-Semite. He has claimed that whites are a “race of devils,” declaration that “Hitler was a very great man,” labeling Judaism a “gutter religion,” among other things.

Huckabee Sanders TORCHES mainstream media HACK for attempting to blame school shooting on TRUMP

(National SentinelSadistic: White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders could barely contain herself on Wednesday when responding to a reporter who seemed to be blaming a horrific school shooting in Kentucky the day before on President Donald J. Trump.

The shooting left two dead and seventeen injured at a Kentucky High School, and the shooter’s motive is still unknown.

The question about school shootings was Sanders’ final of the day.

NBC’s Peter Alexander, asked “What has the president done since October to prevent any of the shootings from taking place?”

“The president believes that all Americans deserve to be safe in their schools and in their communities,” adding, “we’ve tried to crack down on crime throughout the country.”

However, the conversation turned hot when Alexander ultimately asked Sanders, “What is the president specifically doing to prevent shootings?”

Continuing, he demanded, “Will the president come forward before the nation and tell people how he feels and use the bully pulpit?”

Sanders cut him off.

Raising her voice in disbelief, asking if the reporter was implying that Trump was “complicit” in the school shooting.

“The fact that you’re basically accusing the president of being complicit in a school shooting is outrageous!” she said.

After Alexander tried to clarify, Sanders made this point: “The president has been very clear in instructing the top law enforcement agency to crack down on crime to prevent these types of things,” before walking away from the podium.

Hannity: ‘MULTIPLE sources’ tell him DOJ is retrieving ‘missing’ STRZOK-PAGE texts (Video)

(National SentinelForensic Recovery: On his Fox News program Wednesday night, host Sean Hannity revealed that “multiple sources” have told him the Department of Justice is beginning to retrieve some of the FBI’s ‘missing texts’ belonging to anti-Trump agent Peter Strzok and department lawyer Lisa Page, his mistress.

Citing Justice Department sources, Hannity reported that DoJ forensic cyber teams were moving to recover some five months’ worth of text exchanges between Dec. 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017.

The FBI claimed in a notification to Congress that a technical glitch failed to capture and archive messages sent from and to thousands of department cellphones.

“This meant that 5 months’ worth of texts would be missing from Strzok and Page, both of whom are under scrutiny after it was revealed that the former members of special counsel Robert Mueller’s team exchanged anti-Trump texts during the 2016 presidential campaign,” Fox News noted.

The missing texts, which have been sought by congressional committees investigating alleged Obama administration bias and improper spying on the 2016 campaign of President Donald J. Trump, are also causing problems for a parallel investigation being conducted by the DoJ Office of Inspector General, the network reported.

That’s because lawmakers had previously been told by the IG’s office that it had all the messages between Strzok and Page between Nov. 30, 2016, and July 28, 2017.

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., chairman of Homeland Security Committee, and Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, have sent a letter to DoJ IG Michael Horowitz asking about the discrepancy.

The five-month gap covers a critical period and could be key to congressional investigators.

“The five-month stretch of missing messages covers a period of time that includes President Donald Trump’s inauguration, the firings of National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and FBI Director James Comey and the standing-up of former FBI Director Mueller as special counsel to investigate alleged Trump campaign collusion with Russian officials during the 2016 election,” Fox News reported.

“The timeline of the ‘missing’ text messages is highly suspicious. They begin on December 14, 2016 and go through May 17, 2017 which is the same day Robert Mueller was appointed as Special Counsel,” The Gateway Pundit noted.

“Imagine what the ‘missing’ text messages say about the Trump transition period, Russia dossier, “secret society” and moments leading up to Mueller’s appointment.”

Here’s PROOF that CNN’s constant TRUMP hate has NO impact on the American people

(National SentinelIrrelevant: For a year, CNN has been laser-focused on the alleged “collusion” scandal between the campaign of President Donald J. Trump and the Russian government.

The network has covered the issue from every angle imaginable, at times publishing or broadcasting information that turned out to be totally false.

On Sunday one of the network’s reported admitted, however, that CNN‘s continued coverage of a ‘scandal’ for which no evidence has yet to substantiate is having little impact with the American people.

“I’m so interested to see how the Russia investigation affects things, because so far, out in these districts when you talk to people about Russia, and that’s all we talk about at CNN basically, they say they don’t care,” Maeve Reston, a national politics reporter for the network, said on “Inside Politics.”

“It doesn’t have any effect on their lives,” he continued.

Reston’s network, along with MSNBC, have both focused heavily on the collusion scandal. But in recent weeks, there has been an emerging body of evidence that the collusion narrative was a hoax created by the Obama administration to help Hillary Clinton and defeat, or undermine, Trump.

Reston also noted on Sunday that in her interviews with voters, she is witnessing a growing confidence in the economy during Trump’s first year in office.

“You are starting to see that uneasiness about the economy sort of dissipate,” she said, as reported by The Daily Caller.

“Remember, even in 2016 when we went out to these swing states and talked to voters, there was still this fear that things were suddenly going to turn down again,” she continued. “You don’t feel that as much anymore.”

Trump supporter nearly KILLED by Antifa terrorist outside NYC venue: Where’s the MEDIA?

(National SentinelAlt-Left: In an attack that left many shocked and outraged Saturday night, a supporter of President Donald J. Trump was attacked and nearly strangled to death by an Antifa domestic terrorist.

The unidentified victim, reportedly a 56-year-old white male, was attending a ticketed nightclub party called a Night for Freedom that was organized by investigative journalist Mike Cernovich, to commemorate the one-year anniversary of Trump’s presidency.

The victim had left the venue and gotten about a block away from Antifa protestors gathered outside when one of them, David Campbell, 30, of Crown Heights, peeled off from the group to follow the victim.

A witness told police that Campbell punched the victim in the head, which caused him to fall and hit his head on the curb. Campbell then reportedly started strangling the man.

The Gateway Pundit reported that the victim was nearly pulseless and required CPR when emergency medical crews arrive. The report said the victim regained consciousness in the ambulance that took him to an area hospital.

Two other people were reported injured in the attack and were also taken to hospitals, the report said.

The Gateway Pundit noted that the major establishment media have ignored the attack. Only a few outlets including theirs, BreitbartNew York Post, New York Daily News, WCBS-TV and now ours have picked up the story.

During the Obama administration, the FBI and Department of Homeland Security designated Antifa as a domestic terrorist group.

Members of Antifa — which stands for “anti-fascism” — have been involved in several series incidents of violence directed primarily at supporters of the president.

(National SentinelTick-Tock: On his Thursday evening program, Fox News host Sean Hannity claimed that, based on information he has gleaned from sources familiar with the contents of a four-page House Intelligence Committee memo on alleged FISA court abuses by the Obama administration, special counsel Robert Mueller’s “witch hunt” probe may soon be about to end.

Based on today’s events I have a message tonight for Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Your witch hunt is now over. Time to close the doors,” Hannity said.

“It is more disturbing than we thought. And right now our sources are telling us that the abuse of power is far greater than Watergate,” the host added.

“What we are talking about tonight are the abuse of the powerful tools of intelligence that we use to spy on people. Those tools were used against an opposition candidate, and president elect and his entire team,” he said, a reference to the campaign of President Donald J. Trump.

“And it was done not only under false pretenses but with the with help of Hillary Clinton. She bought and paid for the dossier that they filled with Russian lies,” the Fox News host continued.

On Friday, Hannity dropped another major hint that bombshell information was coming, along with “vindication.”

CNN whiner Jim Acosta completely SCHOOLED at White House presser by Budget Director Mulvaney (Video)

(National SentinelPartisan: As a government shutdown loomed closer on Friday, White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney took to the dais in the briefing room to take reporters’ questions about the most recent developments in negotiations.

During his opening statements, Mulvaney dubbed the impasse over budget agreement the “Schumer Shutdown,” a reference to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., who is believed to be purposefully tanking negotiations and angling for the government to be shut down over political demands such as citizenship for illegal aliens.

When Mulvaney called on CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta, who is frequently combative with Trump administration officials, he questioned why the budget director blamed the shutdown on Schumer and Democrats.

“At the comments beginning this you said it was the Schumer shutdown. How could it be the Schumer Shutdown when Republicans control the White House, the House and the Senate?”

At that, Mulvaney took a mocking, disciplinary tone.

“Come on. You know the answer to that as well as anybody. I have to laugh when people say that. ‘Oh we control the House, the Senate, the White House, why can’t you get this done?'” he said.

“You know as well as anybody that it takes 60 votes in the Senate to pass an appropriations bill. Right? You know that?”

“I know that,” Acosta admitted.

“So when you only have 51 votes in the senate you have to have Democrat support in order to keep the government to fund the government. So that’s the answer to your question,” Mulvaney said.

Watch the exchange:

Republicans have lashed out at Democrats over their refusal to agree to a long-term budget which they say is detrimental to military readiness, a position that Defense Secretary James Mattis, a former four-star Marine general, agrees with.

In the short term, Republicans blame Democrats for holding the U.S. military hostage and putting illegal aliens ahead of troops, including those deployed in combat zones.

A government shutdown means U.S. military personnel don’t get paid, even those forward-deployed.

The last time the government shut down was in 2013. Democrats again blamed Republicans for the shutdown and many think it will harm the GOP in this year’s elections like they believed it would harm Republicans then.

The GOP won commanding majorities in the House and Senate the following year.

Kilmeade: ‘Trump rallies PATRIOTIC Americans like Andrew Jackson’

(National SentinelPresidential: Fox News personality and budding historian Brian Kilmeade has paid President Donald J. Trump a high compliment in comparing him to another populist president, Andrew Jackson.

Kilmeade — author of “Andrew Jackson and the Miracle of New Orleans: The Battle That Shaped America’s Destiny” – made his remarks Wednesday on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight in an interview with Breitbart News’s Senior Editors-at-Large Rebecca Mansour and Joel Pollak.

After Mansour’s description of Jackson as “America’s first populist president,” Kilmeade connected the 7th and 45th presidents via their very similar use of national fame as a tool towards pursuing, and capturing, the nation’s highest elected office.

“Steve Bannon was one of the first to point out, Donald Trump is like Andrew Jackson in many ways,” said Kilmeade.

“That similarity where Donald Trump made his name in business; Andrew Jackson became the most famous man in America because he was able to rally a country that was flat on its back in a war that we weren’t ready to fight and win one of the most decisive impactful battles in our nation’s history,” he added.

“I remember on election night, we were at the Trump victory party covering it. When it looked like Trump was going to win, [former NYC Mayor] Rudy Giuliani came downstairs to talk to the press, and most of the journalists were totally shell-shocked, and he said to them, ‘We haven’t seen a victory like this since Andrew Jackson.’ That was the first name on his mind. It was amazing,” the Fox News host said.

Lindsey Graham BAITS CNN info babe into asking THIS about TRUMP, then lowers the boom

(National SentinelMedia Miss: Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., appeared on CNN Thursday to discuss once again comments reportedly made by President Donald J. Trump during recent negotiations over an immigration reform bill at the White House.

Graham, who was in the room at the time with a number of other lawmakers, was asked by Dana Bash if Trump called countries like Haiti and African nations “sh*tholes,” implying that he intentionally singled out countries where most citizens are black.

“You can keep asking me all day long and I’ll say the same thing,” Graham responded. “Why don’t you ask me, ‘is he a racist?’”

“That was my next question,” Bash admitted.

“Okay well, why don’t you ask me?” Graham said coolly.

Bash complied and Graham answered, “Absolutely not.”

Graham went on to explain, “Let me tell you what, you can be dark as charcoal and lily white — it doesn’t matter as long as you’re nice to him,” Graham explained. “You could be the pope and criticize him — it doesn’t matter, he’ll go after the pope.

“He’s a street fighter,” Graham noted further. “It’s not the color of your skin that matters, it’s not the content of your character, it’s whether or not you show him respect or like him.”

Graham noted that Trump no longer needs to be a “street fighter,” which is how he got elected — beating Graham, in fact, along with 15 other GOP candidates.

“What we need now is a leader,” Graham continued, pointing out that Trump has moments of brilliance and that the country is behind him on a plethora of issues that must be addressed.

“There are real estate markets and there are political markets,” the senior South Carolina Republican said, and each can only bear so much.
