POP: Trump’s approval rating better than OBAMA’s at same period in presidency

(National SentinelSurvey Says: Democrats and Left-leaning pundits are quick to note during any discussion about President Donald J. Trump’s agenda that he’s a “deeply unpopular” chief executive who has to work with the opposition party if he wants to govern.

But a new survey has, again, defied that narrative: The Rasmussen Daily Tracking survey, which was one of the few accurate polls during the 2016 campaign (it consistently had Trump ahead of his rival, Hillary Clinton), has Trump polling at 48 percent — four points higher than his predecessor at the same time in his term.

“The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 48% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-one percent (51%) disapprove,” the polling firm said.

Granted, presidential approval ratings could always improve, but Trump’s ratings are high despite the fact that 90 percent of the media coverage during a recent three-month period of time was negative, and he’s endured personal attacks on a scale that is unprecedented.

Meanwhile, on February 7, 2010, President Obama had an approval rating of 44 percent according to the same polling firm, while 56 strongly disapproved.

And Obama’s media coverage was far less hostile.

CNN’s ‘media’ guy Brian Stelter is ANGRY at Fox News for reporting…the TRUTH

(National SentinelHead-Scratcher: The media correspondent for CNN, Brian Stelter, is calling out Fox News‘ “Fox & Friends” morning show because the hosts reported an accurate polling statistic comparing Presidents Donald J. Trump and Barack Obama.

On Thursday The National Sentinel reported that Trump’s approval rating had popped to 46 percent, while his disapproval had fallen to 53 percent.

“Fox & Friends” shared this fact on air Friday morning, leading the president to tweet out his satisfaction about the polls.

But according to Stelter, it was a “disservice” to viewers of Fox & Friends for the show to share that information.

“This is a prime example of how ‘Fox & Friends’ does a disservice to viewers,” Stelter tweeted.

However, according to a Dec. 28, 2009 poll by Rasmussen Reports, the same firm that released Trump’s latest approval ratings, had Obama at 47 percent favorable; just a day later, on Dec. 29, Obama’s rating fell to 46 percent favorable and 53 percent unfavorable, the same as Trump’s.

“So Brian Stelter is apparently angry that Fox News reported poll numbers that are factually accurate because they happen to be favorable to the president. Very unbiased,” The Daily Caller observed.

Trump POP: Prez approval rating hits months-long HIGH at year’s end

(National SentinelApproval: President Donald J. Trump is ending his first year in office on a high note after successfully shepherding passage of a landmark tax cut for American earners and corporations and watching the U.S. economy surge after his November 2016 victory.

According to Rasmussen Reports’ Daily Presidential Tracking Poll, Trump’s approval rating has popped to 45 percent, versus 53 percent who said they disapprove.

That’s better than recent polling, which had the president anywhere from upper 30’s to low 40’s in terms of approval.

Also, Trump’s presidency is beginning to shift Americans’ views of the future.

“While it’s been a roller coaster year for America when it comes to voters’ outlook on the future of this country, more voters now think America’s best days are in the future rather than in the past,” Rasmussen Reports noted.

That’s the highest number since shortly after Trump took office in late January, when more than 40 percent of Americans said they believe the country is heading in the right direction.

In recent days, Trump tweeted out that his administration’s internal polling shows strong support for his policies and his administration.

In terms of the economy, Trump has already seen 3-plus percent growth in GDP twice since taking office.

The economy grew at just 1.2 percent in the first quarter (Trump was inaugurated Jan. 20), but has grown 3.1 percent and 3.2 percent in the second and third quarters, respectively.

Economists are expecting at least 3 percent growth in the fourth quarter, as the unemployment rate has fallen to 4.1 percent.

By comparison, Obama never saw 3 percent growth in GDP during his eight-year tenure.

Update: Matt Drudge of The Drudge Report tweeted that Trump’s first-year approval rating is exactly the same as President Obama’s first-year rating.

Don’t look now but Trump’s approval rating is UP again

(National SentinelExecutive Branch: Despite the never-ending hate from the “mainstream” media, entertainment industry, and Democrats in general, President Donald J. Trump’s approval rating climbed again recently, thanks to a series of high-profile good deeds.

The latest presidential tracking poll by Rasmussen Reports found that Trump’s overall approval rating has climbed to 45 percent, though 54 percent said they disapproved.

Trump has gotten positive numbers from his visits to hurricane-savaged areas in Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico, as well as his handling of the disasters.

In addition, Trump’s visit to Las Vegas to meet with victims of last weekend’s mass shooting is also being well-received by most Americans.

The president’s approval rating has been inching upward over the past month, driven by a number of factors including his administration’s response to the storms and his taking on the NFL over its player protests.

Update: This morning after this story was posted, Rasmussen updated its polling figures; Trump’s approval rating is actually up to 46 percent.

Survey says: Voters blaming DC, not Trump, for stalled prez agenda

(National SentinelTrump Agenda: As we’ve mentioned before, the #nevertrump RINOs who refuse to get on board President Donald J. Trump’s agenda are really only hurting themselves, as yet another new survey proves.

As reported by Breitbart News:

The George Washington University battleground poll found that 51 percent of voters agreed with the statement “Donald Trump had been keeping his campaign promises” with 44 percent disagreeing.

But when asked about the reasons for the delay in getting some of his promises enacted, 52 percent of respondents agreed that “Washington elites are to blame for the delay in passing some of these reforms.”

The poll comes at a time when Trump has been increasingly locking horns with top Republican leaders over priorities in Congress. Trump said at a rally in Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday that he was prepared to shut down the government if Congress would not fund a wall at the southern border.

Trump has not been shy about calling out his congressional opponents — Democrats and Republicans. This week he lambasted Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky for failing to pass Obamacare repeal and replace after pledging he would and could do so for several years.

He’s also taken shots at pretend conservative Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona, who just wrote a book essentially trashing the president and the tens of millions of Americans who voted for him.

And there is this: While the number of voters who viewed Trump favorably sat at a low 41 percent, Ryan’s number was 36 percent and McConnell’s was a mere 19 percent favorability.

The RINOs in Congress who want to see Trump fail are assuring that he does while putting their own futures in jeopardy.

Left-wing attacks backfiring? Trump approval hits 50 percent

(National SentinelPresidential politics: To hear some Democrats tell it, they’ve already won back control of the House and President Donald J. Trump’s presidency will soon end in impeachment; the 2018 elections are just a formality.

Organic-Storable-Food-Supply-MROnly…not so much.

The Alt-Left’s incessant and outrageous attacks on the president appear to be backfiring; the latest approval rating survey has the president at the halfway mark: 50 percent, according to Friday’s Daily Presidential Tracking Poll from Rasmussen Reports, one of two polling firms that correctly predicted Trump’s November election victory.

The president’s approval numbers are moving back up after they fell to a low of 42 percent in April. He took office in January with a high of 59 percent.

Trump celebrated the new milestone on Twitter:

Seems Americans are getting behind the president as he is mercilessly – and dishonestly – attacked by the disgusting media and political establishment. So by all means, Democrats, keep the hate machine cranked up.

Great again: Trump approval rating hits 50 percent

(NationalSentinel) Executive Branch: President Donald J. Trump’s supposed slide in the polls appears to have reversed itself, with a new approval rating survey popping 50 percent.

As noted by Rasmussen Reports:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove.

This is the first time the president’s overall approval rating has been back in the 50s in nearly a month. Just after his inauguration, Trump’s job approval peaked at 59% and remained in the 50s every day until early March. It’s gone as low as 42% since then.

Who’s ignoring this poll? Only every so-called “mainstream media” outlet. Why? Because it isn’t “news” to these Left-wing hacks unless it portrays Trump in a negative way.

The fact is – and we’ve said this before – you don’t win 306 electoral votes and then, by the next month, become ‘the most unpopular president ever.’ And yet that’s how the establishment media has been portraying Trump since January.

Presidential approval numbers go up and down, we get that. But the attempt to portray Trump as being hated by large majorities of Americans never had any basis in reality this soon after the election.

Polls, schmolls: Take Trump popularity ratings with grain of salt

(NationalSentinel) Presidential Politics/Media: If you relied on polling data to “inform” you about our president’s popularity, you would likely think that Donald J. Trump is the most unpopular chief executive at this early juncture in his presidency ever.

But what of those polls were designed to make you think just that?

Today’s polling data showing Trump’s approval ratings tanking are being conducted by the same firms who were so wrong about the election outcome, as noted by John Crudele at the New York Post:

Trump’s approval rating sucks — according to polls.

These are the same polls that said Hillary Clinton would be in the White House right now. Not only that, but they said Clinton would easily win the presidency.

Even if the polls were now showing Trump’s popularity booming, I’d say the same thing: To hell with the polls.

Pollsters must love these between-election polls because they can report anything and not be proved wrong. It’s when there is an election coming up that they really stick their necks out.

The media, of course, are complicit in the pollsters’ scam. Without the press, the polls would go unnoticed.

One polling firm – Rasmussen Reports, which accurately predicted Trump’s victory – has him with a 47 percent approval rating. But again, polls, schmolls.

It’s important to remember these negative polls don’t pass the smell test; how does a guy who isn’t supposed to win pull 306 electoral votes, many from that “Democrat Blue Wall” of states that haven’t supported a GOP president in decades?

And while most Americans who could vote did not support Trump, the majority of those who did outside of California were Trump backers.

It’s entirely plausible to believe that the same polling firms that were so utterly certain Hillary Clinton would win are now trying to make you think Trump is the most unpopular president ever. Something to think about the next time you see a poll with high Trump negatives.
