FISA MEMO DROPS…Shows MASSIVE conspiracy to ensnare TEAM TRUMP using BOGUS dossier and COLLUSION with a foreign agent

(National SentinelFISA Abuses: As expected, the so-called “FISA memo” was released on Friday, revealing serial abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court by upper echelon officials in the FBI and Justice Department to prevent Donald J. Trump from becoming president, and to undermine him after he defeated Hillary Clinton in November 2016.

FO-banner-350x350

Per Fox News, as many suspected, the discredited and unverified “Trump dossier” was used not once but on three separate occasions to secure a FISA court surveillance warrant to allow the Obama administration to spy on Team Trump during his campaign.

In addition, Hillary Clinton, U.S. media outlets, and ranking officials within DOJ and FBI including former FBI Director James Comey, former deputy director Andrew McCabe, and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein were all aware that the dossier was a political document, not a serious piece of intelligence work, the memo explains.

As Fox News reported, the four-page memo [which you can read here] also “includes testimony from a high-ranking government official who says without the infamous Trump dossier, the FBI and DOJ would not have secured surveillance warrants to spy on at least one member of the Trump team.”

The memo pointed out that in December 2017, then-FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe testified that “no surveillance warrant would have been sought” from the FISA court “without the Steele dossier information.”

The memo also states that DOJ and FBI officials used media reporting on the Trump-Russia collusion allegations to bolster their case for a FISA court warrant. That is a substantial revelation because the memo also talks about how the dossier’s creator, former British spy Christopher Steele — who was commissioned by Fusion GPS to assemble the dossier — briefed a number of media outlets on its contents over the summer of 2016, as Trump gained steam.

Fox News:

The memo also shows that Steele was eventually cut off from the FBI for being chatty with the media. It says he was terminated in October 2016 as an FBI source “for what the FBI defines as the most serious of violations—an unauthorized disclosure to the media of his relationship with the FBI.”

The memo implicates a massive conspiracy involving Steele, Fusion and the Hillary Clinton campaign, which paid for the dossier through a third party law firm, Perkins Coie.

“The ‘dossier’ compiled by Christopher Steele (Steele dossier) on behalf of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Hillary Clinton campaign formed an essential part of the Carter Page FISA application,” the memo states, referencing a surveillance warrant obtained to spy on a former Trump campaign official.

“Steele was a longtime FBI source who was paid over $160,000 by the DNC and Clinton campaign, via the law firm Perkins Coie and research firm Fusion GPS, to obtain derogatory information on Donald Trump’s ties to Russia,” it continued.

Even after he was terminated by the FBI, Steele continued to have a relationship with then-Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr. Ohr’s wife Nellie began working for Fusion GPS, the firm behind the dossier, as early as May 2016.

According to the memo, Steele told Ohr that he “was desperate that Donald Trump not get elected and was passionate about him not being president.” But it says the FISA application process “ignored or concealed his anti-Trump financial and ideological motivations.

“This clear evidence of Steele’s bias was recorded by Ohr at the time and subsequently in official FBI files – but not reflected in any of the Page FISA applications,” the memo reads.

The memo also named names. As CBS News reported:

The FBI and DOJ obtained three FISA warrants targeting Page and three FISA renewals, according to the memo. Then-FBI Director James Comey signed three FISA applications in question on behalf of the FBI, and Deputy Director Andrew McCabe signed one, according to the memo. The memo says then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, then-Acting Deputy Attorney General Dana Boente, and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein each signed one or more FISA applications on behalf of the DOJ.

“The memo clearly states that the dossier was a political document — opposition research commissioned by Fusion GPS and paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign and that everyone involved in approving the FISA court applications knew the document was political research, not hard-and-fast intelligence gathered by legitimate U.S. spies,” said J. D. Heyes, editor-in-chief of The National Sentinel.

“So Comey, Rosenstein, Yates, McCabe, and others were clearly in on the conspiracy to frame President Donald J. Trump and his campaign with a bogus ‘Russia collusion’ story,” he added.

As expected, Trump was critical of the effort to frame his campaign personnel and saddle his administration with what now appears to have been a direct political effort to undermine him.

“I think it’s terrible,” said the president. “You want to know the truth. I think it’s a disgrace. What’s going on in this country, I think it’s a disgrace.

“A lot of people should be ashamed of themselves,” he said.

“The top Leadership and Investigators of the FBI and the Justice Department have politicized the sacred investigative process in favor of Democrats and against Republicans – something which would have been unthinkable just a short time ago. Rank & File are great people!” Trump tweeted earlier.

The memo notes further that the original FISA court warrant was sought for Trump campaign official Carter Page, and was originally granted in October 2016. It was subsequently renewed two additional times, with officials relying primarily on the unsubstantiated and salacious Trump dossier.

Page, who served as Trump’s foreign policy advisor until September 2016, had come under FBI scrutiny in 2014 for his contact with Russian agents, and he admitted more recently to taking a trip to Russia in 2016 while he worked on Trump’s campaign, Slate reported. Page has not been charged with any wrongdoing. But the fact that he came under FBI scrutiny nearly four years ago and was never charged with a crime or with espionage is troubling to many critics of the surveillance.

“The brave and assiduous oversight by Congressional leaders in discovering this unprecedented abuse of process represents a giant, historic leap in the repair of America’s democracy,” Page said in a statement to Business Insider. “Now that a few of the misdeeds against the Trump Movement have been partially revealed, I look forward to updating my pending legal action in opposition to DOJ this weekend in preparation for Monday’s next small step on the long, potholed road toward helping to restore law and order in our great country.”

Nunes hits BACK at ‘spurious’ FBI, DOJ objections to FISA memo release; NO more ‘stonewalling’ the American people

(National SentinelTransparency: House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif. pushed back against FBI and Justice Department officials on Wednesday after they attempted to convince him and President Donald J. Trump not to release a four-page “FISA memo” that purportedly shows pre-election bias against the Republican nominee.

“Having stonewalled Congress’ demands for information for nearly a year, it’s no surprise to see the FBI and DOJ issue spurious objections to allowing the American people to see information related to surveillance abuses at these agencies,” Nunes said in a statement posted to the committee’s website.

“The FBI is intimately familiar with ‘material omissions’ with respect to their presentations to both Congress and the courts, and they are welcome to make public, to the greatest extent possible, all the information they have on these abuses,” he continued.

“Regardless, it’s clear that top officials used unverified information in a court document to fuel a counter-intelligence investigation during an American political campaign. Once the truth gets out, we can begin taking steps to ensure our intelligence agencies and courts are never misused like this again.”

Democrats and some officials within both agencies have been working behind the scenes and publicly to both delay the memo’s release and discredit it as a partisan attack.

Also Wednesday, the committee’s ranking minority member, Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff of California, objected to the memo’s release after minor editorial changes had been made to it in order to satisfy FBI concerns.

Schiff claimed the memo had been “secretly altered” and therefore must be reviewed again by the entire committee before it is released.

“BREAKING: Discovered late tonight that Chairman Nunes made material changes to the memo he sent to White House – changes not approved by the Committee. White House therefore reviewing a document the Committee has not approved for release,” he tweeted, including a copy of a letter he sent to Nunes.

But in response to Schiff, the House GOP noted that changes were minor and editorial in nature while accusing the California Democrat of trying to unnecessarily delay the memo’s release.

“In its increasingly strange attempt to thwart publication of the memo, the Committee Minority is now complaining about minor edits to the memo, including grammatical fixes and two edits requested by the FBI and by the Minority themselves,” said the GOP statement.

“The vote to release the memo was absolutely procedurally sound, and in accordance with the House and Committee rules. To suggest otherwise is a bizarre distraction from the abuses detailed in the memo, which the public will hopefully soon be able to read for themselves,” it added.

Previous reports have claimed that the memo lays out abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court by Obama-era FBI and DOJ officials to improperly obtain a surveillance warrant to spy on President Trump’s campaign.

The memo also allegedly names certain department and bureau figures who may have been involved in the scheme.

House votes to RELEASE the ‘troubling,’ ‘shocking’ FISA MEMO; Deep State PANICS

(National SentinelTransparency: The House Intelligence Committee voted along party lines to release the so-called “FISA memo” which reportedly details abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court by anti-Trump elements within the FBI and Justice Department during the Obama administration.

Now the countdown begins: President Donald J. Trump has five days to object to its release, though that doesn’t seem likely given that he’s already informed the Justice Department through chief of staff John Kelly he’d like the memo declassified and released.

Trump, like many of his supporters, believe the memo not only proves he was right to claim that the Obama administration “wiretapped” him, but that it will also show that special counsel Robert Mueller’s entire investigation was established on false premises.

“The four-page memo has being described by GOP lawmakers as ‘shocking,’ ‘troubling’ and ‘alarming’ with one congressman likening the details to KGB activity in Russia,” Fox News reported. “Those who have seen the document suggest it reveals what role the unverified anti-Trump ‘dossier’ played in the application for a surveillance warrant on at least one Trump associate.”

Earlier in the day, reports noted that FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe will leave his post.

McCabe was implicated last year as perhaps having a role in a plot to undermine Trump’s campaign and his presidency.

In recent weeks the White House has put pressure on McCabe after he was implicated in text messages exchanged between anti-Trump FBI agent Peter Strzok and his mistress, FBI lawyer Lisa Page.

The two discussed an “insurance policy” to allegedly undermine President Donald J. Trump’s campaign and, possibly, his presidency in the event he defeated Hillary Clinton.

The texts referenced discussing the insurance policy in “Andy’s office,” which is believed to be McCabe.

The House Intelligence Committee vote was announced to reporters by California Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the committee, who called it a “very sad day, I think, in the history of this committee.”

“Today this committee voted to put the president’s personal interests, perhaps their own political interests, above the national interests,” Schiff added, adding that the committee also blocked the release of a counter-memo by Democrats.

Trump to DOJ: RELEASE the MEMO!

(National SentinelFull Disclosure: President Donald J. Trump has broken with officials inside the Justice Department and is calling for the release of the so-called “FISA memo” which is purported to show widespread Obama-era abuses of the secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.

As reported by The Washington Post, Trump instructed Attorney General Jeff Sessions, through chief of staff John Kelly, to release the memo in full because he believes it will shed light on special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged “collusion” between the Trump campaign and Russia in 2016.

The president “is inclined to have that released just because it will shed light,” a senior administration official told the Post.

“Apparently all the rumors are that it will shed light, it will help the investigators come to a conclusion,” the official added.

The Post and other media reports said that the decision to release the memo rests with House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif. Earlier, the DOJ said it would be “extremely reckless” to release the memo without first allowing the department to look it over.

Republicans in Congress who have seen the memo dismiss the DOJ’s concerns, saying the contents of the memo are “shocking” and “explosive.” They have also said the American people deserve to see it and judge for themselves the relevance of its contents.

The Intelligence Committee voted along party lines last week to allow any member of the House to view the memo. The Senate Intelligence Committee, however, has been blocked from reviewing it.

“I’m here to tell all of America tonight that I’m shocked to read exactly what has taken place,” House Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark MeadowsR-N.C., said in a speech on the House floor.

“I thought it could never happen in a country that loves freedom and democracy like this country. It is time that we become transparent with all of this, and I’m calling on our leadership to make this available so all Americans can judge for themselves,” he added.

Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., who has also seen it, said last week that it will prove that special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russian collusion probe is bogus. He also said he believes the memo has criminal implications.

“I believe this will not end just with firings. I believe there are people who will go to jail. I was very persuaded by the evidence,” Gaetz told Fox News‘ Sean Hannity.

“I believe that once the American people have the opportunity to evaluate the allegations and claims in this memo, it will become evident the activities of the last administration, the crimes I believe were committed, and the total sham that this Mueller investigation is, built on a false premise and rotten to the core,” he told Fox News‘ Tucker Carlson.

Goofball Adam Schiff doesn’t want ‘explosive’ FISA memo released because he thinks we’re too DUMB to understand it

(National SentinelIgnorance: Reports last week said that not a single Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee voted in favor of releasing an “explosive” FISA memo that Republicans have hinted contains evidence of Obama-era abuse of the secretive FISA court in order to spy on the Trump campaign.

On Saturday during an appearance on CNN, the panel’s ranking member, California Democrat Adam Schiff, attempted to explain his party’s opposition: Americans won’t understand what’s in the memo.

“It is essentially a set of talking points that the Republican Intel staff drafted. Based on the highly classified materials which most of the Republican members were forced to acknowledge,” he said.

“They’ve not even read. So they don’t know how distorted these talking points are. But it’s part of the narrative they want to push out. Interestingly enough, they’ve made common cause once again with Russian bots because Russian bots are pushing their narrative out there,” Schiff added.

“It’s in a redux of the campaign. We have Assange and Wikileaks and Russian trolls and bots saying, you know, hash tag whatever the GOP narrative is. That ought to tell you a lot about what’s driving this,” he said.

Asked why he doesn’t just support release of the memo to the public so that the American people can make up their own minds, Schiff said: “Well, because the American people unfortunately don’t have the underlying materials and therefore they can’t see how distorted and misleading this document is.

“The Republicans are not saying make the underlying materials available to the public. They just want to make this spin available to the public,” he said.

“I think that spin, which is a attack on the FBI, is just designed to attack the FBI and Bob Mueller to circle the wagons for the White House. And that’s a terrible disservice to the people, hard working people at the bureau, but more than that, it’s a disservice to the country,” Schiff claimed.

In a statement to CNN Friday, Schiff slammed the memo, branding it a “profoundly misleading set of talking points drafted by Republican staff attacking the FBI and its handling of the investigation.”

Republicans who have read the memo say differently. They claim it contains explosive evidence indicating that the Obama administration abused the FISA court warrant process, likely in an effort to spy on the Trump campaign — a completely politicization of the U.S. intelligence community and the Department of Justice.

Watch, via Tea Partier:

Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., who has read the memo, said he believes it will not simply lead to people being fired from FBI and DoJ, but that some could be indicted and even jailed at some point.

UNBELIEVABLE! Feinstein ADMITS to leaking Glenn Simpson’s testimony at request of FUSION GPS

(National SentinelPuppet: Sen. Dianne Feinstein said on Friday that her controversial decision to release the full transcript of testimony from Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson came at the request of the opposition research firm.

Feinstein released Simpson’s August 2017 testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee in full earlier this week. Simpson testified as part of the committee’s investigation into alleged Russian election interference in 2016 and “collusion” with the Trump campaign.

As reported by The Daily Caller, the California Democrat said lawyers for the firm asked her to release it.

“We were written to by the lawyers of the company asking that it be released, and the reason, of course, is because it has been used by rumor and innuendo and falsity so much that the time came for people to see exactly what was said,” Feinstein said.

Earlier, Feinstein said she felt “pressured” to release the transcript, but later denied that. She has also said her judgement was impaired by a “bad cold.”

The chairman of the Judiciary Committee, Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, expressed disappointment in Feinstein for releasing the transcript.

He also said he believed that the release will prevent other witnesses from voluntarily testifying in the committee’s probe, and that it will help others prepare their answers beforehand — which critics say was Feinstein’s intent.

“The concern I have is you want other people to voluntarily comply, it’ll make them nervous,” Grassley told reporters Wednesday in response to Feinstein’s actions. “And the other thing — they’re giving everybody we want to talk to, they know what the questions are going to be.”

President Donald J. Trump has also criticized Feinstein’s decision to release the transcript, hinting that it may even have been illegal.

“The fact that Sneaky Dianne Feinstein, who has on numerous occasions stated that collusion between Trump/Russia has not been found, would release testimony in such an underhanded and possibly illegal way, totally without authorization, is a disgrace. Must have tough Primary!” he tweeted.

Trump CALLS OUT Feinstein over possible ‘ILLEGAL’ release of Fusion GPS transcript

(National SentinelScandalous: On Thursday President Donald J. Trump criticized Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California for “possibly illegally” releasing the transcript of Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson.

Earlier in the week Feinstein claimed that she was pressured to release the transcript, but then backtracked, suggesting that a “bad cold” affected her judgement.

In August, congressional investigators interviewed Simpson about his firm’s role in the creation of the so-called “Trump dossier.” The firm hired former British spy Christopher Steele to compile the dossier, in which he used Russian sources.

Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, along with the Democratic National Committee, financed a major portion of the dossier.

Republican members of the Senate Judiciary Committee pushed back against Feinstein’s release of the transcripts, which they had sought to block.

“It’s totally confounding that Senator Feinstein would unilaterally release a transcript of a witness interview in the middle of an ongoing investigation. Her decision was made without consulting Chairman [Chuck] Grassley [R-Iowa],” reported Fox News’ Chad Pergram.

“The innuendo and misinformation circulating about the transcript are part of a deeply troubling effort to undermine the investigation into potential collusion and obstruction of justice,” Feinstein said in a statement at the time the transcript release. “The only way to set the record straight is to make the transcript public.”

Her actions were heavily criticized by Trump.

“Democrat Dianne Feinstein should never have released secret committee testimony to the public without authorization. Very disrespectful to committee members and possibly illegal. She blamed her poor decision on the fact she had a cold – a first!” he tweeted.

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/951650274032209920

He added: “The fact that Sneaky Dianne Feinstein, who has on numerous occasions stated that collusion between Trump/Russia has not been found, would release testimony in such an underhanded and possibly illegal way, totally without authorization, is a disgrace. Must have tough Primary!”

According to the transcripts, Simpson said he was “stunned” when he learned about a meeting between Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya and Donald Trump Jr., in Trump Tower in June 2017. He also said he learned about the meeting in news reports.

However, Simpson met with Veselnitskaya the morning of the Trump Tower meeting, and also afterward.

Trump diplomacy: Three UCLA basketball players held for shoplifting in China have been released

(National SentinelPresidential Power: Three UCLA basketball players accused of shoplifting and arrested by Chinese police have now been released, likely due to intervention from President Donald J. Trump who is returning today from his first Asian trip.

Media reports say that Freshmen LiAngelo Ball, Jalen Hill and Cody Riley were detained in Hangzhou on suspicion of theft after their team defeated Georgia Tech in their season-opening game in Shanghai as part of the annual Pac-12 China game.

Ball is the brother of LA Lakers guard Lonzo Ball.

Their UCLA teammates returned to California on Saturday without them, leaving many to speculate when or whether the Chinese would release the trio.

Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott thanked Trump, the White House and the State Department for their efforts in resolving what he called “the incident with authorities in Hangzhou, China.”

JFK Files: British reporter told ‘big news’ coming before shots were fired

(National SentinelKennedy Assassination: A senior British reporter was told that “big news” was coming some 25 minutes before President John F. Kennedy was shot in Dallas, allegedly by Lee Harvey Oswald, according to never-before-released files that President Donald J. Trump just ordered released.

“The caller said only that the Cambridge News reporter should call the American Embassy in London for some big news and then hung up,” reads the document from former CIA Deputy Director James Angleton, Fox News reports.

The reporter was not identified in the Nov. 26, 1963, report, but had “never received a call of this kind before and MI5 said that he is known to them as a sound and loyal person with no security record,” the document said.

MI5 is Britain’s Security Service, similar to the CIA in the U.S.

After Kennedy’s assassination, the reporter called Cambridge, England, police about the strange call. The police then told MI5. “The important point is that the call was made, according to MI5 calculations, about 25 minutes before the President was shot,” the document noted.

On Thursday, President Donald Trump blocked the release of hundreds of records on the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy, in deference to appeals from the FBI and CIA. Meanwhile, the National Archives came out Thursday night with a large cache of other records.

“I have no choice,” Trump said in a memo, citing “potentially irreversible harm” to national security if he were to allow all records to come out now.

Instead, those files are now under a six-month review.

The president was under an Oct. 26 deadline to comply with a 1990s law that mandated the documents’ release unless he believed doing so would harm national security.

Those that were released indicate that federal agents were madly following tips, no matter how thin, in the days after Kennedy’s Nov. 22, 1963, assassination. Agents were balancing rumors and chasing leads all over the world.

“The materials also cast a wide net over varied activities of the Kennedy administration, such as its covert efforts to upend Fidel Castro’s government in Cuba,” Fox News reported.

A CIA spokesperson told Fox News that the agency had released all but 18,000 of its more than 87,000 documents related to the assassination and promised that the outstanding records would be made available.

The spokesperson added that some of the remaining documents contained redactions that “were undertaken with the intent to protect information in the collection whose disclosure would harm national security — including the names of CIA assets and current and former CIA officers, as well as specific intelligence methods and partnerships that remain viable to protecting the nation today.”

Trump to permit release of still-secret JFK files

(National SentinelJFK Assassination: In keeping with his tendency to always put Americans first, President Donald J. Trump has determined that it’s in the American public’s interest to finally see the rest of the still-secret files pertaining to the investigation into President John F. Kennedy’s assassination.

The files were set to be released this year unless the president re-classified them as top secret. But Trump has said he won’t do that and instead will allow them to be released to the public after more than four decades of secrecy.

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/921716470140325889

As reported by CBS News:

Congress mandated in 1992 that all assassination documents be released within 25 years, unless the president asserts that doing so would harm intelligence, law enforcement, military operations or foreign relations. The still-secret documents include more than 3,000 that have never been seen by the public and more than 30,000 that have been released previously, but with redactions.

FO-banner-600x100

JFK scholars believe the trove of files may provide insight into assassin Lee Harvey Oswald’s trip to Mexico City weeks before the killing, during which he visited the Soviet and Cuban embassies. Oswald’s stated reason for going was to get visas that would allow him to enter Cuba and the Soviet Union, according to the Warren Commission, the investigative body established by President Lyndon B. Johnson, but much about the trip remains unknown.

We’ll see.

For now, barring any unforeseen changes of heart in Trump, the documents are set for release Oct. 26 and will likely be pounced on immediately by media, conspiracy theorists and others who are interested in knowing — finally — the entire story behind JFK’s assassination.

Frankly, it’s about time this happened.

Trump has opportunity to release secret JFK files within months – will he do it?

(NationalSentinelConspiracy: President Donald J. Trump will have a golden opportunity in a few months to put an end to decades of conspiracy theories surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

As reported by Politico, under the provisions of a 1992 law, Trump has a deadline of six more months to decide if he wants to make heretofore secret documents and files regarding JFK’s assassination public.

In fact, according to the National Archives, an answer could come within weeks:

Under the deadline set by a 1992 law, Trump has six months left to decide whether he will block the release of an estimated 3,600 files related to the assassination that are still under seal at the Archives. From what is known of the JFK documents, most come from the CIA and FBI, and a number may help resolve lingering questions about whether those agencies missed evidence of a conspiracy in Kennedy’s death. As with every earlier release of JFK assassination documents in the 53 years since shots rang out in Dealey Plaza in Dallas, it is virtually certain that some of the files will be seized on to support popular conspiracy theories about Kennedy’s murder; other documents are likely to undermine them.

Trump, in the past, has been a fan of conspiracy theories, including the idea that one of his rivals on the campaign trail was in cahoots with JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald.

So the fact that this decision falls to Trump is no small irony.

Under the 1992 law all JFK files must be made public on the law’s 25th anniversary, which comes October 26. The decision to release the files are Trump’s alone.

Politico:

Martha W. Murphy, the Archives official who oversees the records, said in an interview last month that a team of researchers with high-level security clearances is at work to prepare the JFK files for release and hopes to begin unsealing them in batches much earlier than October – possibly as early as summer.

Beyond releasing the 3,600 never-before-seen JFK files, the Archives is reviewing another 35,000 assassination-related documents, previously released in part, so they can be unsealed in full. Short of an order from the president, Murphy said, the Archives is committed to making everything public this year: “There’s very little decision-making for us.”

Other files include those pertaining to CIA and FBI surveillance of Oswald, who mysteriously made a trip to Mexico City weeks before the assassination, where he visited the Soviet and Cuban embassies. Also, some of the files are said to identify by name witnesses given anonymity – Americans, foreign spies and law-enforcement personnel – who had information about the assassination.

One of them is E. Howard Hunt, of Watergate conspiracy fame. There are some 400 documents pertaining to Hunt, a former CIA operative who said on his death bed he had advance knowledge of the assassination:

Many [documents] showed how much evidence was withheld from the Warren Commission, the independent panel led by Chief Justice Earl Warren that investigated the assassination and concluded in 1964 that there was no evidence of a conspiracy in Kennedy’s death.

The documents showed that both the CIA and FBI had much more extensive information about Oswald—and the danger he posed to JFK—before the assassination than the agencies admitted to Warren’s investigation. The evidence appeared to have been withheld from the commission out of fear that it would expose how the CIA and FBI had bungled the opportunity to stop Oswald.

Under the 1992 statute, law enforcement agencies originally involved in the JFK assassination investigation can request that certain documents remain secret. Only the president can approve such requests.

We’ll see what Trump will do, but honestly, it’s past time for the country to learn all it can know about the murder of a president.

Obama’s pardon frenzy one last move to leave behind legacy of chaos

(NationalSentinel) President Obama is determined to ensure that once he finally, thankfully, leaves office, he leaves behind a legacy of chaos and turmoil unlike any before him.

09-02-16-04-44-01_promo_article_160x600-option-2As reported by Agence France Presse, Obama is being pressured to pardon or commute the sentences of some very bad actors and traitors who, through their actions, have put all Americans at risk:

Among them is Bowe Bergdahl, a US Army sergeant held captive for five years by the Taliban before his release in a prisoner swap, who is due to be court-martialed for desertion.

Leonard Peltier, a Native American activist convicted for the 1975 deaths of two FBI agents in what his supporters say was a setup, is also hoping to enjoy Obama’s good graces.

Then there’s Edward Snowden, who made the shattering revelation in 2013 of a global communications and internet surveillance system set up by the United States.

The 33-year-old, a refugee in Russia, is backed by numerous celebrities like actress Susan Sarandon and singer Peter Gabriel, as well as Amnesty International and the American Civil Liberties Union.

…In another leak case, Chelsea Manning is serving a 35-year sentence in solitary confinement for handing 700,000 sensitive military and diplomatic documents to WikiLeaks, some of them classified.

Activists say her sentence is excessive and point to the psychological frailty of the transgender soldier who has already made two suicide attempts.

While Obama is not likely to pardon all of these people, he has already pardoned or commuted the sentences of more than triple the amount of President Bill Clinton (Clinton’s 396 to Obama’s more than 1,200). And more are on the way.

Obama’s Left-wing activism aside, the man is seriously putting lives and property in danger. Given the incredibly high recidivism rate–something “the smartest president ever” surely is aware of–it is a certainty that a good number of the prisoners he’s releasing early are going to re-offend.

Only a president who wants to create chaos and hardship for others he pretends to care about would do such a thing.
