Bongino: ‘Democrats covering up the BIGGEST political scandal in U.S. history;’ they have ‘NO credibility’ (Video)

(National SentinelCover-up: Former NYPD officer, U.S. Secret Service agent and current conservative talk host Dan Bongino on Saturday accused Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media of working overtime to hide the biggest political scandal in the country’s history — weaponized spying on the Trump campaign.

“Trust the department, not the president. So your reaction to how Democrats are reacting to the White House decision to say, hey, let’s make sure we are not releasing anything to compromise national security in this memo,” said Fox News‘ “Fox & Friends Weekend” co-host Pete Hegseth, in reference to President Donald J. Trump’s refusal on Friday to agree to the release of a memo authored by Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee because it contained classified information.

The Democrat memo, authored by Ranking Member Adam Schiff of California, reportedly contained classified information.

“Pete, the Democrats have forfeited all credibility on this case. They haven’t told the truth from day one,” Bongino said.

“Pete, here’s what even more tragically amusing about the Democrats. They step — they lie so much they step on their own story. They told us before the release of the Nunes Republican memo oh my gosh sources and methods, it’s going to jeopardize national security,” he continued.

“Nobody should see this. Cover it up. Sweep it under the rug. Then the memo came out, ‘oh, this is a big nothing burger.’ This is a total dud. Nothing to see here, folks. Move along. They have not told the truth from day one on this,” Bongino said.

“They have forfeited all their credibility. This is important. They are covering up what I believe to be the biggest scandal in modern political history. That is the spying on of the Trump team by the Obama Administration with no evidence to do so,” he said.

Bongino also noted that the campaign of Hillary Clinton essentially “bought” an FBI investigation of her opponent, President Donald J. Trump, adding to the level of scandal.

Trump UNLOADS on DEM Sen. Warner for ‘EXTENSIVE CONTACT’ with ‘Russian oligarch’ — tied to ‘Crooked Hillary’

(National SentinelEt tu, Brutus? President Donald J. Trump took to Twitter on Thursday to lambast U.S. Sen Mark Warner, D-Va., vice-chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, for clandestinely working through a Russian oligarch to set up a meeting with “Russian dossier” author Christopher Steele.

As reported by Fox News:

Sen. Mark Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee who has been leading a congressional investigation into President Trump’s alleged ties to Russia, had extensive contact last year with a lobbyist for a Russian oligarch who was offering Warner access to former British spy and dossier author Christopher Steele, according to text messages obtained exclusively by Fox News.

“We have so much to discuss u need to be careful but we can help our country,” Warner texted the lobbyist, Adam Waldman, on March 22, 2017.

“I’m in,” Waldman, whose firm has ties to Hillary Clinton, texted back to Warner.

Steele famously put together the anti-Trump dossier of unverified information that was used by FBI and Justice Department officials in October 2016 to get a warrant to conduct surveillance of former Trump adviser Carter Page. Despite the efforts, Steele has not agreed to an interview with the committee.

As the conservation heated up on March 29, secrecy appeared to be very important to Warner after the lobbyist revealed that Steele was seeking to publish a bipartisan letter from Warner and the committee’s chairman, Sen. Richard Burr, R-N.C., that invited him to address the intel panel, Fox News‘ Ed Henry reported.

“Throughout the text exchanges, Warner seemed particularly intent on connecting directly with Steele without anyone else on the Senate Intelligence Committee being in the loop — at least initially,” Henry wrote. “In one text to the lobbyist, Warner wrote that he would ‘rather not have a paper trail’ of his messages.”

The messages were given to Fox News by a Republican source. They were marked “Confidential” but were not classified.

Henry further noted:

Waldman, who did not return calls seeking comments, runs the Endeavor Group in Washington.

Waldman is best known for signing a $40,000 monthly retainer in 2009 and 2010 to lobby the U.S. government on behalf of controversial Russian billionaire Oleg V. Deripaska. Deripraska had his visa revoked by the State Department in 2006 because of charges, which he has denied, that he has organized crime ties.

The revelations stirred President Trump to address Warner’s back-channel dealing on Twitter.

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/961802557646569475

“Wow! -Senator Mark Warner got caught having extensive contact with a lobbyist for a Russian oligarch. Warner did not want a ‘paper trail’ on a ‘private’ meeting (in London) he requested with Steele of fraudulent Dossier fame. All tied into Crooked Hillary,” said the president.

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., defended Warner, claiming he disclosed this information to the committee months ago.

Henry noted during an interview with Fox News‘ Martha McCallum that Republican operatives tied to the committee released the texts to make the point that some Demorats who have been hammering Trump for a year about his campaign team’s alleged ties to Russian officials have themselves had back-channel dealings with Russians.

Clinton hatchet man Schearer peddled TRUMP DIRT sooner than thought; info found its way to DOSSIER author Steele

(National SentinelInside Job: A longtime operative for Hillary Clinton was peddling bogus information against then-GOP presidential nominee Donald J. Trump in August 2016, sooner than previously thought.

As reported by The Daily Caller, a government source said that Cody Shearer was attempting to peddle dirt on Trump two months earlier than other reporting suggested.

But government officials did not take much of what Shearer — a former journalist — was saying seriously because he was “not a guy with a whole lot of credibility,” said the source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of investigations into the various Trump-Russia investigations.

Nevertheless, the info Schearer was peddling made it up the chain and into the hands of “Trump dossier” author and former British spy Christopher Steele.

The DC’s Chuck Ross noted further:

The House Intelligence and Senate Judiciary Committees are investigating the so-called “Shearer memo” and how it made its way from the Clinton operative, through the State Department, and into the hands of Christopher Steele, the former British spy who wrote the infamous dossier.

Steele subsequently passed along some of the information to the FBI in October 2016, The Guardian first reported Jan. 30.

That was about the time the FBI was attempting for a second time to obtain a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court warrant against Trump campaign official Carter Page. The bureau had initially sought a warrant over the summer of 2016 but that application was rejected.

Subsequent reporting noted that FBI agents held up the dossier as legitimate intelligence in October 2016 — not as political opposition research — when they were successful in obtaining a warrant to spy on Page. Those reports were confirmed in the “FISA memo” — a four-page summary of the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into alleged “Trump-Russia collusion” that was released last week.

“Shearer’s involvement in digging up Trump dirt is one of the stranger twists in the saga of the Russia investigation, one that involves a recently retired State Department official named Jonathan Winer,” Ross reported, adding:

During the presidential campaign, Winer, who served at the time as special envoy to Libya, obtained information from Steele in summer 2016. He passed it along to then-Sec. of State John Kerry in the form of a two-page memo.

The Atlantic and The Washington Post reported on Tuesday that Shearer’s information made its way to Steele through at least two intermediaries.

Shearer obtained information from an unidentified foreign source who then provided the information to his longtime friend and fellow Clinton crony, Sidney Blumenthal. Blumenthal then provided the information to Winer, his friend.

Steele provided the FBI with a handwritten memo based upon information from Shearer, according to The Atlantic. The note also reportedly referenced Shearer’s association with Blumenthal and disclosed that the information was unverified.

The Shearer memo and the Steele dossier contain some of the same unverified allegations.

The basic information contained in Schearer’s memo was that Russia’s spy agency, the FSB, had video footage of Trump engaging in sex acts with prostitutes in a Moscow hotel room.

Steele and Schearer run in similar circles of friends but Steele, a former spy with connections to the FBI and CIA, has a better reputation. That’s likely why the FBI did not vet his dossier before using it to obtain a FISC warrant against Page — a violation of rules.

DiGenova doubles down: ‘Heading for very SAD ENDING for several FBI, DOJ officials’ over FISA, Team Trump abuses (Video)

(National SentinelCriminals: Former U.S. attorney for the D.C. District Joe diGenova told Fox News‘ Sean Hannity Wednesday evening that he believes several current and former FBI and Justice Department officials involved in abusing the system in order to spy on President Donald J. Trump’s campaign are going to jail.

In what he called the “largest” federal law enforcement scandal in the history of the country, diGenova said it will be a “sad day” soon for those involved.

“We are heading toward a very sad ending for the FBI and senior DOJ officials. [Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew] McCabe is gone because [FBI Director Christopher] Wray knows what’s in the other emails and other texts,” he said, referring to communications between anti-Trump elements of the DOJ and FBI that have recently been revealed.

“The investigation that is underway is going to lead to criminal charges against a number of people,” diGenova predicted. “What you are seeing coming out now in the text messages is just the minimum of what is available now to DOJ officials… I believe that several high FBI officials will be charged criminally.”

He added: “This is the largest law enforcement scandal in history for this reason. The activity for McCabe and others, and [Justice Department official] Bruce Ohr and others, were designed to subvert the Constitution and a national election – the most serious offense under our Constitution.”

Last week the House Intelligence Committee released a four-page “FISA memo” detailing serial abuses by elements of the Obama FBI and DOJ of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in order to obtain surveillance warrants against a one-time member of Trump’s campaign, Carter Page.

The memo noted that the FBI relied on “dossier” compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele containing salacious allegations against Trump and members of his campaign.

The FBI reportedly failed to vet the dossier before using it as Exhibit A in order to obtain the surveillance warrant from the FISC.

Informant: Obama briefed TWICE on dirty Uranium One deal, did NOTHING (Video)

(National SentinelNational Security: Critics of a deal to allow a Russian state-owned uranium company, Rosatom, to purchase a Western firm, Uranium One, that held 20 percent of all U.S. strategic uranium, have long said it negatively impacted American national security.

And yet a series of U.S. officials including former Secretary of State and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton allowed the deal to go through.

Many of those same critics have often wondered where was the president of the United States — Barack Obama — during the deal-making process which, reports have since noted, was fraught with corruption?

According to an FBI informant in the case, Obama was briefed at least twice but failed to stop the deal.

In October the informant, identified as Bill Campbell, came forward with details of a story of backroom dealing and quid-pro-quo arrangements involving several Obama administration figures along with Bill and Hillary Clinton.

As The National Sentinel reported:

An undercover informant for the FBI who worked in the Russian nuclear industry and was made to sign an “illegal” non-disclosure agreement (NDA) by Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch is claiming to have video evidence showing Russian agents with briefcases full of bribe money in relation to the Uranium One scandal.

Having been deeply embedded in the Russian nuclear industry, Campbell was able to gather incriminating evidence of bribery and kickbacks to and by U.S. and Russian actors involved in getting the Uranium One deal approved by the Obama administration.

Meanwhile, Campbell’s attorney, former Reagan Justice Department official Victoria Toensing, previously told Fox Business host Lou Dobbs, “He can tell what all the Russians were talking about during the time that all these bribery payments were made.”

FO-300x250-1

Reports noted earlier that as the Uranium One deal progressed beyond 2009 and into 2013 when it was concluded, tens of millions of dollars flowed into the Clinton Family Foundation.

In addition, Bill Clinton received hefty, outsized payments of $500,000 each for a series of speeches he gave in Moscow.

Fast-forward to this week. On Wednesday Campbell broke his silence again after receiving marathon cancer treatments to inform three congressional committees, according to investigative reporter and Fox News contributor Sara A. Carter, who obtained his testimony:

“For several years my relationship with the CIA consisted of being debriefed after foreign travel,” Campbell noted in his testimony, which was obtained by this reporter. “Gradually, the relationship evolved into the CIA tasking me to travel to specific countries to obtain specific information. In the 1990’s I developed a working relationship with Kazakhstan and Russia in their nuclear energy industries. When I told the CIA of this development, I was turned over to FBI counterintelligence agents.”

The informant’s attorney, Victoria Toensing partner at the firm DiGenova & Toensing, said the following:

“Mr. Campbell testified for over four hours until he answered every question from three Congressional committees; the Senate Judiciary, House Oversight and House Intelligence committees.

He recounted numerous times that the Russians bragged that the Clintons’ influence in the Obama administration would ensure CIFIUS approval for Uranium One. And he was right.”

In an interview Wednesday night with Fox News host Sean Hannity, Toensing — a former Reagan administration official — noted that Campbell testified that he was told Obama was briefed at least twice on the deal as it progressed.

“Mr. Campbell was told by the FBI that what he was being told and they were taking it upstairs and he was also told that President Obama also had it in his daily briefing twice,” she said.

Watch:

In December, Attorney General Jeff Sessions ordered a new probe into the Uranium One deal.

Zero Hedge reported in January that ranking members of the Obama FBI and Justice Department were also involved:

Robert Mueller’s FBI had been investigating the scheme since at least 2008 – with retiring Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe assigned to the ongoing investigation which was hidden from the Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States (CFIUS). Had they known, the committee never would have approved the Uranium One deal with TENEX’s parent company, Rosatom.

Four individuals were eventually prosecuted and given plea agreements after the Uranium One deal was approved. The prosecuting DOJ attorneys? Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and top Mueller investigator in the Trump-Russia probe, Andrew Weissman – who praised former acting Attorney General Sally Yates for defying Trump.

Here’s PROOF that OBAMA is PERSONALLY implicated in Trump campaign SPYING SCANDAL

(National SentinelBusted: A series of new texts between anti-Trump FBI agent Peter Strzok and his mistress, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, revealed that President Barack Obama may have been directly involved in the probe of Hillary Clinton’s misuse of classified emails.

As reported by Fox News, Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., along with the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, is releasing the texts, along with a report entitled, “The Clinton Email Scandal and the FBI’s Investigation of It.”

In a Sept. 2, 2016, text to Strzok about preparing talking points for then-FBI Director James Comey to give to President Obama, Page said it was important to do so because “potus wants to know everything we’re doing.”

“Potus” is the acronym for “president of the United States.”

That text exchange is the first evidence that Obama was likely kept in the loop as the Trump spying scandal unfolded.

Fox News reported further:

Among the newly disclosed texts, Strzok also calls Virginians who voted against then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s wife for a state Senate seat “ignorant hillbillys.” (sic)

That text came from Strzok to Page on Nov. 4, 2015, the day after Jill McCabe lost a hotly contested Virginia state Senate election. Strzok said of the result, “Disappointing, but look at the district map. Loudon is being gentrified, but it’s still largely ignorant hillbillys. Good for her for running, but curious if she’s energized or never again.”

The revelation that Obama was keeping tabs on the probe involving Clinton’s mishandling of classified emails make it more likely that he was also staying abreast of the ongoing counterintelligence operation against Trump campaign staffers.

Earlier, The National Sentinel reported that Obama had other ways to find out what was happening with his FBI and Justice Department in terms of securing surveillance warrants from the secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.

Not only does the attorney general — Loretta Lynch at the time — have to sign off on all FISA surveillance requests, but such requests are generally included in the President’s Daily Brief.

As the Brookings Institute noted in a policy paper arguing for the Trump administration to renew legislation reauthorizing Section 702 of the FISA Act, which clarifies warrant requirements of the Act, information gathered via FISA warrants “sometimes known as PRISM, comprises a large part of the President’s Daily Brief.”

Also, last week Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, warned Americans to “watch for Obama’s fingerprints” all over the FISA court abuses.

“Watch closely for Barack Obama’s fingerprints,” King told Breitbart News Radio. “[Democrats and their allies] will defend Barack Obama at all costs, and they’ll defend Hillary Clinton almost at all costs unless they have to sacrifice her to protect Barack Obama.”

DiGenova: Memo 2.0 proves SOMEONE in Obama’s State Dept. helped feed false info to FBI; ‘Somebody’s going to have to go to PRISON’ (Video)

(National SentinelIndictments: Former U.S. attorney Joe diGenova argued on Fox News‘ Laura Ingraham program Tuesday night that the newly released “memo 2.0” — a redacted version of an eight-page memo written by Sens. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, and Lindsey Graham — proves someone in President Obama’s State Department fed the FBI false information through Trump dossier author Christopher Steele.

Part of that information was then used by the FBI to obtain surveillance warrants against a member of President Donald J. Trump’s campaign.

In his inteview, diGenova said such actions are likely illegal and that someone needs to be held legally responsible.

“The Grassley-Graham memo establishes beyond any doubt that the FBI knowingly deceived the FISA court about the information it was presenting to them, lied to them about the fact that it was verified information, which it was not — which the law requires,” he said.

“And now we know that additional Clinton allies, including Sidney Blumenthal, were involved in the transmission of false information, unverified information to the FBI through State Department officials. Somebody’s going to have to go to prison,” he declared.

Watch:

Also on Tuesday, Grassley released a “much-less redacted” version of this week’s criminal referral — also known as memo 2.0 — of former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele.

On Monday, Grassley and Graham said that Steele compiled his anti-Trump dossier based on information provided him by a Hillary Clinton contact and Obama State Department official.

Investigative reporter Sara A. Carter noted further:

A new and highly redacted document released Monday by the Senate Judiciary Committee reveals that former British spy Christopher Steele, the man behind the unverified and controversial dossier, wrote an additional memo regarding alleged Russian collusion with President Donald Trump but that the information was largely based on information provided by allies of former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

…[G]rassley sent a criminal referral regarding Steele’s involvement in the dossier to the Department of Justice referral January 4. The criminal referral confirms that allies of Clinton and the Obama administration were providing Steele with what they deemed damaging information on then candidate-elect Trump.

“One memorandum by Mr. Steele that was not published by Buzzfeed is dated October 19, 2016. The report alleges (redacted), as well as (redacted),” Memo 2.0 states. ”

FO-300x250-1

Mr. Steele’s memorandum states that his company ‘received this report from (redacted) U.S. State Department,’ that the report was the second in a series, and that the report was information that came from a foreign sub-source who ‘is in touch with (redacted) US State Department,’ that the report was the second in a series, and that the report was information that came from a sub-source who ‘is in touch with (redacted), a contact of (redacted) of (redacted) a friend of the Clintons, who passed it to (redacted).”

“I don’t take lightly making a referral for criminal investigation. But, as I would with any credible evidence of a crime unearthed in the course of our investigations, I feel obliged to pass that information along to the Justice Department for appropriate review,” Grassley said in a statement.

Trump on FISA memo’s revelations: ‘I think it’s a disgrace’; president MUST pardon anyone caught up in crosshairs of special counsel Mueller

analysis
By J. D. Heyes, editor-in-chief

(National SentinelClean House: As you might have guessed, President Donald J. Trump — the subject of one the biggest political hit jobs in the history of the republic — was none too happy about the findings of the House Intelligence Committee contained in the so-called “FISA memo” released on Friday.

“I think it’s terrible,” Trump said, as quoted by The Associated Press. “You want to know the truth. I think it’s a disgrace. What’s going on in this country, I think it’s a disgrace.”

As reported by NewsTarget, the memo reveals “serial abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court by upper echelon officials in the FBI and Justice Department to prevent [Trump] from becoming president, and to undermine him after he defeated Hillary Clinton in November 2016.”

The four-page memo goes on, noting that Clinton, several U.S. media outlets, top-ranking figures within DOJ and FBI including some that are still serving, and others conspired to create a bogus “dossier” full of false and salacious charges that purportedly came from Russian “sources,” and then pretend it was a legitimate intelligence document in order to secure a top-secret surveillance warrant so the Obama regime could spy on the Trump campaign. (Related: FISA memo released — bombshell report reveals MASSIVE Deep State conspiracy to keep Donald Trump out of the White House)

These same people knew that the dossier — which was paid for by the Clinton campaign through a third-party law firm (because ol’ Hill is so cloak-and-dagger) — was just a political document, not real intelligence.

So yeah, it certainly is a “disgrace” all of this happened.

But it goes much deeper than that. It’s also criminal. At least it has been so far for Carter Page, the principal Trump campaign official put under surveillance by political appointees and others within the DOJ and FBI. And former national security advisor Michael Flynn, indicted and convicted of “lying” to the FBI. And others caught up in this web of deceit.

But it’s also criminal because certain officials within the FBI and DOJ willfully misrepresented “evidence” before a federal court — the FISA court — in order to obtain a surveillance warrant so they could improperly spy on an American citizen.

Like the Gestapo, or Stasi, or KGB.

There is no other choice for the president: He must fire Robert Mueller, whose appointment was also based on this same bogus information; he must fire Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein who signed off on the bogus FISA warrant application at least twice and who appointed Mueller knowing the Trump dossier was opposition research and not intelligence; and he must pardon Flynn (and maybe Page someday) since they have were ensnared in a political operation.

A version of this report first appeared at NewsTarget.com.

FISA MEMO DROPS…Shows MASSIVE conspiracy to ensnare TEAM TRUMP using BOGUS dossier and COLLUSION with a foreign agent

(National SentinelFISA Abuses: As expected, the so-called “FISA memo” was released on Friday, revealing serial abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court by upper echelon officials in the FBI and Justice Department to prevent Donald J. Trump from becoming president, and to undermine him after he defeated Hillary Clinton in November 2016.

FO-banner-350x350

Per Fox News, as many suspected, the discredited and unverified “Trump dossier” was used not once but on three separate occasions to secure a FISA court surveillance warrant to allow the Obama administration to spy on Team Trump during his campaign.

In addition, Hillary Clinton, U.S. media outlets, and ranking officials within DOJ and FBI including former FBI Director James Comey, former deputy director Andrew McCabe, and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein were all aware that the dossier was a political document, not a serious piece of intelligence work, the memo explains.

As Fox News reported, the four-page memo [which you can read here] also “includes testimony from a high-ranking government official who says without the infamous Trump dossier, the FBI and DOJ would not have secured surveillance warrants to spy on at least one member of the Trump team.”

The memo pointed out that in December 2017, then-FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe testified that “no surveillance warrant would have been sought” from the FISA court “without the Steele dossier information.”

The memo also states that DOJ and FBI officials used media reporting on the Trump-Russia collusion allegations to bolster their case for a FISA court warrant. That is a substantial revelation because the memo also talks about how the dossier’s creator, former British spy Christopher Steele — who was commissioned by Fusion GPS to assemble the dossier — briefed a number of media outlets on its contents over the summer of 2016, as Trump gained steam.

Fox News:

The memo also shows that Steele was eventually cut off from the FBI for being chatty with the media. It says he was terminated in October 2016 as an FBI source “for what the FBI defines as the most serious of violations—an unauthorized disclosure to the media of his relationship with the FBI.”

The memo implicates a massive conspiracy involving Steele, Fusion and the Hillary Clinton campaign, which paid for the dossier through a third party law firm, Perkins Coie.

“The ‘dossier’ compiled by Christopher Steele (Steele dossier) on behalf of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Hillary Clinton campaign formed an essential part of the Carter Page FISA application,” the memo states, referencing a surveillance warrant obtained to spy on a former Trump campaign official.

“Steele was a longtime FBI source who was paid over $160,000 by the DNC and Clinton campaign, via the law firm Perkins Coie and research firm Fusion GPS, to obtain derogatory information on Donald Trump’s ties to Russia,” it continued.

Even after he was terminated by the FBI, Steele continued to have a relationship with then-Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr. Ohr’s wife Nellie began working for Fusion GPS, the firm behind the dossier, as early as May 2016.

According to the memo, Steele told Ohr that he “was desperate that Donald Trump not get elected and was passionate about him not being president.” But it says the FISA application process “ignored or concealed his anti-Trump financial and ideological motivations.

“This clear evidence of Steele’s bias was recorded by Ohr at the time and subsequently in official FBI files – but not reflected in any of the Page FISA applications,” the memo reads.

The memo also named names. As CBS News reported:

The FBI and DOJ obtained three FISA warrants targeting Page and three FISA renewals, according to the memo. Then-FBI Director James Comey signed three FISA applications in question on behalf of the FBI, and Deputy Director Andrew McCabe signed one, according to the memo. The memo says then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, then-Acting Deputy Attorney General Dana Boente, and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein each signed one or more FISA applications on behalf of the DOJ.

“The memo clearly states that the dossier was a political document — opposition research commissioned by Fusion GPS and paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign and that everyone involved in approving the FISA court applications knew the document was political research, not hard-and-fast intelligence gathered by legitimate U.S. spies,” said J. D. Heyes, editor-in-chief of The National Sentinel.

“So Comey, Rosenstein, Yates, McCabe, and others were clearly in on the conspiracy to frame President Donald J. Trump and his campaign with a bogus ‘Russia collusion’ story,” he added.

As expected, Trump was critical of the effort to frame his campaign personnel and saddle his administration with what now appears to have been a direct political effort to undermine him.

“I think it’s terrible,” said the president. “You want to know the truth. I think it’s a disgrace. What’s going on in this country, I think it’s a disgrace.

“A lot of people should be ashamed of themselves,” he said.

“The top Leadership and Investigators of the FBI and the Justice Department have politicized the sacred investigative process in favor of Democrats and against Republicans – something which would have been unthinkable just a short time ago. Rank & File are great people!” Trump tweeted earlier.

The memo notes further that the original FISA court warrant was sought for Trump campaign official Carter Page, and was originally granted in October 2016. It was subsequently renewed two additional times, with officials relying primarily on the unsubstantiated and salacious Trump dossier.

Page, who served as Trump’s foreign policy advisor until September 2016, had come under FBI scrutiny in 2014 for his contact with Russian agents, and he admitted more recently to taking a trip to Russia in 2016 while he worked on Trump’s campaign, Slate reported. Page has not been charged with any wrongdoing. But the fact that he came under FBI scrutiny nearly four years ago and was never charged with a crime or with espionage is troubling to many critics of the surveillance.

“The brave and assiduous oversight by Congressional leaders in discovering this unprecedented abuse of process represents a giant, historic leap in the repair of America’s democracy,” Page said in a statement to Business Insider. “Now that a few of the misdeeds against the Trump Movement have been partially revealed, I look forward to updating my pending legal action in opposition to DOJ this weekend in preparation for Monday’s next small step on the long, potholed road toward helping to restore law and order in our great country.”

FISA memo said to contain FOUR ‘explosive’ revelations that have NOT LEAKED (so far)

(National SentinelFISA Memo: Reports on Thursday evening continued to claim that the so-called “FISA Memo” would likely be released on Friday. Even so, one report noted something new: The memo allegedly contains four startling revelations that have yet to be discussed in previous news reports.

“Senior Republicans are pushing back on reports suggesting that this memo will not live up to the hype, telling me there are four separate explosive revelations in the memo that have not leaked out ahead of tomorrows expected release,” Fox News chief political correspondent Ed Henry told host Martha McCallum.

Henry noted further that if the claim is true, it ought to vindicate House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., who has been accused by Democrats and Left-leaning media of playing politics with the memo.

Previously, Republican lawmakers have dropped hints as to what the memo contains. Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., for instance, hinted to Fox News‘ Judge Jeanine Pirro that the memo outlines how the U.S. government may have committed fraud by presenting the courts with “false information,” to obtain FISA warrants.

“You’re aware as a Judge of the way evidence has to be authenticated and presented to a court to get a warrant,” began the Florida Republican.

“It has to be probable cause to sign a warrant,” Judge Jeanne interrupted.

“Of course, and prosecutors and investigators cannot perpetrate frauds on the court by presenting false information or information they know to be false,” Rep. Gaetz continued.

Deep State PANIC over FISA memo: FBI statement claims ‘GRAVE CONCERNS’ about release

(National SentinelDeep State: The FBI has issued a statement claiming agency officials have “grave concerns” about the potential release of the so-called “FISA memo,” and are urging the House Intelligence Committee and President Donald J. Trump to keep it secret.

“The FBI takes seriously its obligations to the FISA Court and its compliance with procedures overseen by career professionals in the Department of Justice and the FBI,” the statement began.

“With regard to the House Intelligence Committee’s memorandum, the FBI was provided a limited opportunity to review this memo the day before the committee voted to release it,” the statement continued. “As expressed during our initial interview, we have grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy.”

During an appearance on Fox Business, Judge Andrew Napolitano said that FBI Director Christopher Wray and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein — not AG Jeff Sessions — informed the White House on Tuesday they, too, were concerned about the memo’s release.

“According to the Washington Post the president has not yet seen it. He’s going to see it this morning… So the FBI and DOJ do not want it out because they believe it reveals sources and methods of acquiring data, of acquiring intel,” he said. “And they don’t think it can be effectively redacted.

“How do we know this? Because Christopher Wray, the director of the FBI, and Rod Rosenstein, the number two person of the DOJ, the chief operating officer of the DOJ… Where’s Jeff Sessions in all of this?… Spent about an hour-and-a-half with General Kelly the president’s chief of staff yesterday afternoon trying to persuade him of the potential dangers coming out,” Napolitano continued.

Watch:

That directly conflicts with a Fox News report from national security correspondent Katherine Herridge on Tuesday, which said that two “FBI officials” — one from the counterintelligence division and one from the bureau’s legal division — have perused the memo and found it to be both accurate and safe for release.

The officials said they found “no factual inaccuracies” in the memo, meaning its contents are accurate.

Also, Justice Department officials told the network Tuesday that portions of the memo are now “moot” — in particular, the term “reckless,” since FBI and DoJ officials have now had the opportunity to review it.

Fox News was told the memo was “drafted deliberately to eliminate national security information” that could be damaging if viewed by individuals outside of Congress.

GOP lawmakers have said “the memo speaks to whether the unverified anti-Trump dossier was used to secure or extend surveillance warrants for Americans, including a Trump associate,” Fox News reported.

Wray reportedly went to Capitol Hill during a rare visit on Sunday evening to view the memo. On Monday, FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, who is reportedly mentioned in the memo, was removed from his post after talking with Wray.

On Monday, Fox News host Tucker Carlson said sources told his program that McCabe is mentioned specifically in the FISA memo, which “primarily describes abuses of FISA, that’s the law that allows the U.S. government to spy on American citizens for the purpose of stopping foreign threats–and only for that purpose,” he said.

Following his State of the Union Address Tuesday night, Trump was overheard telling a Republican lawmaker he “100 percent” would release the memo.

FBI Deputy Director McCABE RESIGNS; is the FISA memo about to implicate him?

(National SentinelDeep State: FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe has announced that he will step down from his position, fueling speculation that the so-called “FISA memo” may soon be released and may implicate him as part of a plot to spy on the Trump campaign.

As reported by NBC News:

McCabe has been at the center of ongoing tensions between the White House and the FBI and has reportedly been under pressure to quit from President Donald Trump, whose campaign is being investigated for possible collusion with Russia.

McCabe reportedly resigned on Monday. He will remain on the FBI’s payroll until he is formally able to retire, NBC News said.

In recent weeks the White House has put pressure on McCabe after he was implicated in text messages exchanged between anti-Trump FBI agent Peter Strzok and his mistress, FBI lawyer Lisa Page.

The two discussed an “insurance policy” to allegedly undermine President Donald J. Trump’s campaign and, possibly, his presidency in the event he defeated Hillary Clinton.

The texts referenced discussing the insurance policy in “Andy’s office,” which is believed to be McCabe.

Also, last week administration spokesman Raj Shah referenced reports of pressure from the White House to fire McCabe by saying in a statement that Trump “believes politically motivated senior leaders” of the FBI “have tainted the agency’s reputation for unbiased pursuit of justice” and that the new director he “appointed” will “clean up the misconduct at the highest levels of the FBI.”

Some believe that McCabe may be implicated with others in the FISA memo, which allegedly details abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. There has been speculation that the FBI used the unsubstantiated — and unvetted — “Trump dossier,” which was paid for by the Clinton campaign, as a legitimate intelligence document in order to obtain a surveillance warrant to spy on the Trump campaign.

Strzok-Page texts show FBI HID details of Hillary probe from Congress; knew they would be revealed in FOIA requests and ‘inflame Congress’ (Video)

(National SentinelNOversight: Presidential attorney Jay Sekulow on Friday discussed newly-released texts between FBI officials Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page, saying the two knew they were stonewalling lawmakers regarding the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

Discussing the tests on his radio program, “Jay Live,” Sekulow also said the texts revealed that the two understood the hidden FBI reports would eventually be revealed in Freedom of Information Act requests and “absolutely inflame Congress.”

The two anti-Trump officials admitted to hiding “302 reports” — which are summaries of interviews conducted with witnesses and/or suspects — from lawmakers regarding Clinton’s criminal mishandling of classified emails.

Also, both then complained that FOIA requests from interested parties would eventually cause the hidden reports to be released, thus created widespread angst and condemnation in Congress.

“Peter Strzok on September 10th, 2016–this is during the heart of the election last year,” Sekulow began.

Quoting Strzok, Sekulow said, “‘Thing is, there are very inflammatory things in the 302’s’ [that’s the agents’ reports] that we didn’t turn over to Congress because they weren’t relevant to understanding the focus of the investigation.'”

“This was the investigation of Hillary Clinton-the ongoing email investigation,” Sekulow said, putting the conversation in context.

Again quoting Stzrok, Sekulow noted further, ‘These are going to come out in FOIA’s and absolutely inflame Congress…’

“In other words, once the FOIA requests come in and they are responded to, it’s going to create a firestorm,” the president’s counsel said.

Critics noted that as bad as that is, only a fraction of the total number of texts sent between Strzok and Page during a crucial five-month period have been released to Congress.

Gowdy: ‘FIX was IN’ to clear HILLARY no matter what she did, as newly released texts PROVE

(National SentinelExonerate: During a Thursday evening appearance on Fox News‘ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said newly revealed texts between anti-Trump FBI officials Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page show that “the fix was in” to clear Hillary Clinton of any wrongdoing involving her mishandling of classified information.

In a text released to the public, Page, in reference to Clinton, wrote to Strzok, “One more thing: she might be our next president. The last thing you need us going in there loaded for bear. You think she’s going to remember or care that it was more doj than fbi?”

He responded, “I called Bill and relayed what we discussed. He agrees. I will email you and [redacted] same” — in which he appears to be saying he contacted Hillary’s husband, former President Bill Clinton, about the case.

The messages were exchanged during the FBI’s investigation of Clinton’s use of an unsecured private email server while serving as Obama’s secretary of state.

“This, I think is the unvarnished truth of how they viewed both her, him and the investigation and how they wanted it to turn out,” Gowdy said.

“Keep in mind, Tucker, all of this is done before she was ever interviewed. So the fix was in. Unfortunately, before they even interviewed the target of the investigation.”

Tucker responded: “What does it tell you about what they thought of Hillary Clinton? They believed, if she became president she would punish our chief law enforcement agency for investigating her. What does that say about their view of her? Or their understanding of her?”

It’s either that, or I think another reasonable construction is she’d award the DOJ, thinking it was more DOJ lawyers that concluded she should not be charged as opposed to the FBI,” Gowdy said.

“And that’s actually how I read it–that she would give more credit to the Department of Justice–you know, keep in mind, reading these texts, it doesn’t appear that anyone wanted her charged, before they even know what she was going to say.

“I read that to be, they were concerned the DOJ would get the credit for taking care of her more than the bureau would,” he said.

Hannity: ‘MULTIPLE sources’ tell him DOJ is retrieving ‘missing’ STRZOK-PAGE texts (Video)

(National SentinelForensic Recovery: On his Fox News program Wednesday night, host Sean Hannity revealed that “multiple sources” have told him the Department of Justice is beginning to retrieve some of the FBI’s ‘missing texts’ belonging to anti-Trump agent Peter Strzok and department lawyer Lisa Page, his mistress.

Citing Justice Department sources, Hannity reported that DoJ forensic cyber teams were moving to recover some five months’ worth of text exchanges between Dec. 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017.

The FBI claimed in a notification to Congress that a technical glitch failed to capture and archive messages sent from and to thousands of department cellphones.

“This meant that 5 months’ worth of texts would be missing from Strzok and Page, both of whom are under scrutiny after it was revealed that the former members of special counsel Robert Mueller’s team exchanged anti-Trump texts during the 2016 presidential campaign,” Fox News noted.

The missing texts, which have been sought by congressional committees investigating alleged Obama administration bias and improper spying on the 2016 campaign of President Donald J. Trump, are also causing problems for a parallel investigation being conducted by the DoJ Office of Inspector General, the network reported.

That’s because lawmakers had previously been told by the IG’s office that it had all the messages between Strzok and Page between Nov. 30, 2016, and July 28, 2017.

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., chairman of Homeland Security Committee, and Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, have sent a letter to DoJ IG Michael Horowitz asking about the discrepancy.

The five-month gap covers a critical period and could be key to congressional investigators.

“The five-month stretch of missing messages covers a period of time that includes President Donald Trump’s inauguration, the firings of National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and FBI Director James Comey and the standing-up of former FBI Director Mueller as special counsel to investigate alleged Trump campaign collusion with Russian officials during the 2016 election,” Fox News reported.

“The timeline of the ‘missing’ text messages is highly suspicious. They begin on December 14, 2016 and go through May 17, 2017 which is the same day Robert Mueller was appointed as Special Counsel,” The Gateway Pundit noted.

“Imagine what the ‘missing’ text messages say about the Trump transition period, Russia dossier, “secret society” and moments leading up to Mueller’s appointment.”
