Poll: Americans ‘overwhelmingly believe’ that Obama SPIED on Team Trump

(National SentinelSurvey Says: A newly-released IBD/TIPP poll found that “Americans overwhelmingly believe the Obama administration ‘improperly surveilled’ Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.”

The survey, conducted by Investors Business Daily in conjunction with the TIPP polling firm, also found that a majority of respondents would like to see the appointment of a special counsel to look into charges that some Obama FBI and Justice Department officials improperly obtained surveillance warrants to spy on Trump campaign figures.

“One fact emerges from the poll of 900 people conducted from Jan. 25 to Feb. 2: The public doesn’t necessarily buy into the Democratic narrative that the Trump campaign ‘colluded’ with Russia to tamper with the 2016 presidential election,” Investors Business Daily noted.

“The poll also suggests that many Americans think the roots of the allegations made against Trump extend beyond the two major party campaigns in the last presidential election and deep into the Obama era’s intelligence and law enforcement bureaucracies, and may involve active political bias on the part of supposedly nonpartisan employees of both the Justice Department and FBI,” IBD added.

About 55 percent said it was “likely” that the Obama administration “improperly surveilled the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.”

Regarding whether a special counsel was needed to “investigate whether the FBI and the Department of Justice improperly surveilled the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election,” 54 percent responded “yes,” and 44 percent “no.”

“The poll’s contents are troubling for those in the Democratic Party and the left-leaning media who had hoped to make a case with the American people that President Trump worked with Russian officials to win the 2016 election. The American people don’t seem to believe it,” IBD reported.

Hannity warns: ‘Just a SLIVER’ of DEEP STATE corruption has come out so far (Video)

(National SentinelSwamp Creatures: Fox News host Sean Hannity said during his Friday night program that a crescendo of information regarding Obama-era corruption in the FBI, Justice Department and other federal agencies is coming and that only a “sliver” of information has been released thus far.

“Like we’ve been telling you, sit tight. If you think this is bad right now I promise you it’s going to only get worse,” he said.

“What we have now is a sliver of the information. It’s coming out day by day. I’ve been warning you from the beginning this is Watergate on steroids. And as you can see this gets more corrupt by the day,” the Fox News star noted.

Legacy Food Storage

Referencing the revelations contained in the House Intelligence Committee’s explosive FISA memo, Hannity reminded viewers that “this whole thing starts with Hillary Clinton, remember, rigging the [Democratic] primary against [Sen.] Bernie Sanders. Why more Bernie people aren’t mad, I don’t know.”

Continuing, Hannity said:

Then she tried to rig the general election against Donald Trump. She paid for a phony Russian propaganda dossier filled with Russian government lies and propaganda…the FBI then takes that bought-and-paid-for dossier; they don’t tell the FISA judge the truth, to go out and get a warrant to spy on the Trump campaign before the election…

DiGenova: Memo 2.0 proves SOMEONE in Obama’s State Dept. helped feed false info to FBI; ‘Somebody’s going to have to go to PRISON’ (Video)

(National SentinelIndictments: Former U.S. attorney Joe diGenova argued on Fox News‘ Laura Ingraham program Tuesday night that the newly released “memo 2.0” — a redacted version of an eight-page memo written by Sens. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, and Lindsey Graham — proves someone in President Obama’s State Department fed the FBI false information through Trump dossier author Christopher Steele.

Part of that information was then used by the FBI to obtain surveillance warrants against a member of President Donald J. Trump’s campaign.

In his inteview, diGenova said such actions are likely illegal and that someone needs to be held legally responsible.

“The Grassley-Graham memo establishes beyond any doubt that the FBI knowingly deceived the FISA court about the information it was presenting to them, lied to them about the fact that it was verified information, which it was not — which the law requires,” he said.

“And now we know that additional Clinton allies, including Sidney Blumenthal, were involved in the transmission of false information, unverified information to the FBI through State Department officials. Somebody’s going to have to go to prison,” he declared.

Watch:

Also on Tuesday, Grassley released a “much-less redacted” version of this week’s criminal referral — also known as memo 2.0 — of former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele.

On Monday, Grassley and Graham said that Steele compiled his anti-Trump dossier based on information provided him by a Hillary Clinton contact and Obama State Department official.

Investigative reporter Sara A. Carter noted further:

A new and highly redacted document released Monday by the Senate Judiciary Committee reveals that former British spy Christopher Steele, the man behind the unverified and controversial dossier, wrote an additional memo regarding alleged Russian collusion with President Donald Trump but that the information was largely based on information provided by allies of former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

…[G]rassley sent a criminal referral regarding Steele’s involvement in the dossier to the Department of Justice referral January 4. The criminal referral confirms that allies of Clinton and the Obama administration were providing Steele with what they deemed damaging information on then candidate-elect Trump.

“One memorandum by Mr. Steele that was not published by Buzzfeed is dated October 19, 2016. The report alleges (redacted), as well as (redacted),” Memo 2.0 states. ”

FO-300x250-1

Mr. Steele’s memorandum states that his company ‘received this report from (redacted) U.S. State Department,’ that the report was the second in a series, and that the report was information that came from a foreign sub-source who ‘is in touch with (redacted) US State Department,’ that the report was the second in a series, and that the report was information that came from a sub-source who ‘is in touch with (redacted), a contact of (redacted) of (redacted) a friend of the Clintons, who passed it to (redacted).”

“I don’t take lightly making a referral for criminal investigation. But, as I would with any credible evidence of a crime unearthed in the course of our investigations, I feel obliged to pass that information along to the Justice Department for appropriate review,” Grassley said in a statement.

Hannity: Release of SECOND memo detailing MORE Obama-era CORRUPTION should ‘SCARE’ ALL Americans

(National SentinelPoliticals as Unusual: In a Tuesday op-ed for Fox News, host Sean Hannity expounded upon new revelations of Obama-era corruption tied to the “Trump dossier” and spying on the Trump campaign that he began during his network program Monday evening.

Hannity talked about a memorandum penned by the chairman and senior Republican member of the Senate Judiciary Committee — Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, respectively — in which they made a criminal referral to the FBI, requesting the bureau launch an investigation into former British spy Christopher Steele.

In their letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray early last month, the two senators said they wanted to know if the former MI6 agent was dishonest during his interactions with federal authorities.

In his op-ed, Hannity noted that the two senators “have released a heavily redacted, yet very revealing copy of their criminal referral against ex-British spy Christopher Steele, the author of the dubious dossier we now know was parlayed into a FISA warrant by Trump-hating operatives at the Justice Department.

“Grassley and Graham tell us that, while working on a second dossier for Clinton opposition research firm Fusion GPS, Steele was being fed information directly from the Obama State Department and from Clinton allies as well as his usual, sketchy Russian sources,” Hannity said.

“That’s right, teams Clinton and Obama were working with a foreign spy to undermine then-candidate Donald Trump,” he added.

Emergency Foods

“The Grassley-Graham memo goes on to say ‘it’s troubling enough that the Clinton campaign funded Mr. Steele’s work, but [worse] that these Clinton associates were contemporaneously feeding Mr. Steele’s allegations. It raises huge additional concerns about his credibility,'” Hannity wrote.

“The incestuous ties between Fusion, Steele, the Clinton campaign and the Obama Justice Department are alarming. Clinton hired Fusion, which hired Steele. Steele was working with the FBI at the same time. The wife of a top Justice Department official, Bruce Ohr, was hired by Fusion to work with Steele.

“You should be scared. And disgusted,” said the Fox News host.

“I don’t take lightly making a referral for criminal investigation. But, as I would with any credible evidence of a crime unearthed in the course of our investigations, I feel obliged to pass that information along to the Justice Department for appropriate review,” Grassley said in a statement in January.

Graham added that “after reviewing how Mr. Steele conducted himself in distributing information contained in the dossier and how many stop signs the DOJ ignored in its use of the dossier, I believe that a special counsel needs to review this matter.”

Steele was to appear in a London court to provide a long-requested deposition but, in the wake of the release of the House Intelligence Committee’s “FISA memo,” he did not show up.

Rep. Steve King: ‘Watch for Obama’s fingerprints’ ALL OVER FISA abuse scandal

(National SentinelDeep Statist: Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, said on Saturday that he believes evidence exists that former President Barack Obama had a heavy hand in abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court that led to improper spying on President Donald J. Trump’s campaign.

FO-300x250-1

“Watch closely for Barack Obama’s fingerprints,” King told Breitbart News Radio yesterday. “[Democrats and their allies] will defend Barack Obama at all costs, and they’ll defend Hillary Clinton almost at all costs unless they have to sacrifice her to protect Barack Obama.”

King made his comments against the backdrop of Friday’s release of the scandalous FISA memo, a four-page document prepared by Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee explaining that a surveillance warrant obtained from the FISA court by Obama’s FBI and Justice Department to spy on Trump campaign foreign advisor Carter Page was based on an unsubstantiated political report — the “Trump dossier” — not on actual intelligence.

Nothing in the dossier has been verified, which also troubled the Intelligence Committee. The panel’s chairman, Devin Nunes, R-Calif., said that ranking DOJ and FBI officials did not inform the FISA court the dossier was a political opposition report paid for in part by the Hillary Clinton campaign.

“Look at all of these investigations now,” King continued. “Look closely for Barack Obama’s fingerprints. I’ve just identified some that I think are fingerprints, and I think this trail leads to the Obama presidency, to Barack Obama himself, but it’s going to take some time if we get there, and I’m not certain that the evidence trail necessarily leads there.

“There’s an indication trail that says we need to take a look and find out. But if it’s not Barack Obama, then who is it? Well, it’s Loretta Lynch, for example, and James Comey, and McCabe, and that cast of characters from Sally Yates on down,” he continued.

“I don’t think we’ve ever seen such a long row of very high-level executive branch officials wrapped up in something here that is political partisanship, weaponizing the FBI and DOJ to do opposition research that was stimulated by the presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and [paid for with her] and the DNC’s checkbooks,” King noted.

On Saturday, The National Sentinel’s editor-in-chief, J. D. Heyes, laid out the possible path from the FISA warrant approval process in this scandal to the 44th president.

The OBAMA factor in the FISA memo scandal: AG Lynch signed off on ALL requests to spy on Team TRUMP; Prez likely BRIEFED about the spying

analysis
By J. D. Heyes, editor-in-chief

(National SentinelFISA Corruption: More information continues to be revealed and released following Friday’s publication of the scandal-filled FISA memo.

It has now become clear that there is a direct link from the FISA approval process to the former president of the United States, Barack Obama.

As ABC News reported:

The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Courtcommonly referred to as the “FISA Court,” is a secret tribunal with legal authority to grant (or deny) warrants for electronic surveillance against would-be spies or terrorists.

The court — made up of 11 federal judges, serving 7-year terms and selected by the chief justice of the Supreme Court — meets in private, sometimes in the middle of the night. FISA targets are highly classified.

More than a thousand applications for electronic surveillance, all signed by the attorney general, are submitted each year, and the vast majority are approved.

The Obama administration said after President Donald J. Trump claimed he was “wiretapped” by his predecessor March 2017, “A cardinal rule of the Obama administration was that no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice. As part of that practice, neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any U.S. citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false.”

But changes made to the original Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 — via the FISA Amendments Act of 2008 (and renewed in December 2012) give presidents and the intelligence community much more latitude when it comes to surveillance of “foreign” persons.

As explained by Yale Law professor Jack Balkin in 2009:

The FISA Amendments Act of 2008, effectively gives the President – now President Obama – the authority to run surveillance programs similar in effect to the warrantless surveillance program [secretly implemented by George Bush in late 2001]. That is because New FISA no longer requires individualized targets in all surveillance programs. Some programs may be ‘vacuum cleaner’ programs that listen to a great many different calls (and read a great many e-mails) without any requirement of a warrant directed at a particular person as long as no US person is directly targeted as the object of the program.

As the Brookings Institute noted in a policy paper arguing for the Trump administration to renew legislation reauthorizing Section 702 of the FISA Act, which clarifies warrant requirements of the Act, information gathered via FISA warrants “sometimes known as PRISM, comprises a large part of the President’s Daily Brief.”

If you can believe that Obama’s attorney general — the one who spoke with the former president-husband of a suspect currently under investigation for Espionage Act violations (Hillary Clinton) — would not have informed the head of the Executive Branch that his intelligence community was spying on a rival presidential campaign, well, okay.

But then, that information very probably was included in the President’s Daily Intelligence Brief.

There’s more; Brookings’ policy paper arguing on behalf of maintaining Sect. 702 also noted this important distinction:

We often think about 702 as an NSA authority, but it is also to a significant degree an FBI authority. Thus, the person and the integrity of the FBI director is critically important to the integrity of the program.

We now know, thanks to the release of the FISA memo on Friday, that fired FBI Director James Comey was involved in approving the FISA warrants used to spy on Trump campaign foreign policy advisor Carter Page over his alleged “ties” to Russia (foreign intelligence targets). As Fox News reported, “The memo stated that then-FBI Director Comey signed three FISA applications for [Trump campaign foreign policy advisor Carter] Page and McCabe signed one.”

Comey has testified before Congress that he had no idea the so-called “Trump dossier” used as justification for the FISA spy warrant against Page was bought and paid for by Hillary Clinton’s campaign — that it was a political, not intelligence, document. As House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes said on Saturday, either Comey’s telling the truth or he’s lying — either way that’s a problem.

Given all of this, how likely is it that Obama — whose FBI director and AG were heavily involved in securing the FISA warrant (information included in daily presidential briefs) — really didn’t know that Trump’s campaign was under surveillance?

SPERRY: FBI, DOJ, Mueller ‘gonna be in a world of HURT’ when FISA memo, IG report DROPS

(National SentinelStorm Brewing: Investigative reporter Paul Sperry of the New York Post said in a series of tweets on Thursday that sources have informed him that the so-called “FISA memo” authored by Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee will tar the reputations of the FBI and Justice Department, perhaps for a generation.

What’s more, Sperry said that the memo could also ensnare high-level Justice Department and FBI officials, as well as derail special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged “collusion” between the Trump campaign and Russia, allegations of which have yet to be proven despite having been investigated by him, the Justice Department, and at least three congressional committees for more than a year.

Also, Sperry alleged that the secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, or FISC, could also be caught up in scandal when the memo is released.

“I’m told Steele & Simpson + the FBI & DOJ/NSD + even FISC are all gonna be in a world of hurt when this 4-pp memo + underlying docs hit the fan. Steele & Simpson are caught in a sh*tstorm of lies, which further tainted the FBI’s FISA warrant to spy on Team Trump,” he tweeted, alluding to former British spy Christopher Steele, who compiled the infamous but unsubstantiated “Trump dossier,” and Glenn Simpson, co-founder of Fusion GPS, which commissioned the dossier.

Sperry then noted, “… and as a result, the memo is going to create a BIG credibility problem for Mueller, since his team debriefed Steele and tapped into Simpson’s ‘research’ on Manafort and Deutsche Bank. Buckle your seatbelts, sports fans …”

Sperry then praised House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., who was the primary author of the FISA memo. “Nunes is a serious fellow (1 of the few left in DC), so I doubt he’s exaggerating the classified evidence he’s seen in the SCIF underlying his memo. But he & GOP would be well-advised to attach as much of it as they can to quash Dem/MSM spin they’re overselling/playing politics,” he tweeted.

Sperry then added: “PREDICTION: When this memo PLUS the IG report hit, it will be a watershed moment in US history. The American people will never look at their government — or the presidential election process — the same way again. Trust in our federal institutions will be swept away.”

Tom Fitton, president of legal watchdog organization Judicial Watch, also said Thursday, “Mueller is racing to ‘interview’ President Trump before his own investigation further implodes with revelations of illegal anti-Trump actions/bias from the ‘Memo’ and text messages.”

Trump, reportedly against the advice of his counsel, has said he would agree to sit down and be interviewed on the record by Mueller, though no timetable has yet been established.

Goodwin: ‘FBI leaders BETRAYED NATION to PICK the president’

(National SentinelPanic Mode: A growing body of evidence suggests that a massive scandal is brewing at the FBI and the Justice Department that, if true, is likely to have long-ranging negative implications for the nation, writes Michael Goodwin at the New York Post.

Comparing the current situation with the 2007-2009 Great Recession, when lawmakers and President Obama bailed out banks after declaring them “too big to fail,” Goodwin sees the burgeoning scandal involving the nation’s — and the world’s — premier law enforcement agency as “too big to believe.”

“Yet each day brings credible reports suggesting there is a massive scandal involving the top ranks of America’s premier law enforcement agency,” Goodwin writes.

“The reports, which feature talk among agents of a ‘secret society‘ and suddenly missing text messages, point to the existence both of a cabal dedicated to defeating Donald Trump in 2016 and of a plan to let Hillary Clinton skate free in the classified email probe.

“If either one is true — and I believe both probably are — it would mean FBI leaders betrayed the nation by abusing their powers in a bid to pick the president,” he said.

The columnist noted that it also seems likely, based on reporting and some credible evidence, that the Clinton-financed “Trump dossier” — which was supposed to be political opposition research — was used by the FBI to obtain a FISA court warrant so it could spy on a political campaign.

Goodwin (and others) also believe that the FBI got approval for a counterintelligence surveillance warrant to spy on Team Trump by representing the dossier as real intelligence — without telling the court it was oppo-research and that none of it had been substantiated.

Legal experts agree that would constitute a crime.

“I believe this will not end just with firings. I believe there are people who will go to jail. I was very persuaded by the evidence,” Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., told Fox News‘ “Hannity” program last week.

What’s more, writes Goodwin, “there is growing reason to believe someone in President Barack Obama’s administration turned over classified information about Trump to the Clinton campaign.”

One former federal prosecutor, Joseph diGenova, said, “It doesn’t get worse than that.” He also believes Trump knew about what had taken place early on, which is why he declared in March 2017 that Obama “wiretapped” him.

“These and other elements combine to make a toxic brew that smells to high heaven, but most Americans don’t know much about it,” Goodwin wrote. “Mainstream media coverage has been sparse and dismissive and there’s a blackout from the same Democrats obsessed with Russia, Russia, Russia.”

Thankfully, Goodwin notes, there are lawmakers working to get to the bottom of what went on. One of them is House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., who — along with Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C. — have authored a “FISA memo” that allegedly details massive abuse within the FBI and DoJ of the FISA court, as it related to spying on the Trump campaign.

At present, those and other Republican lawmakers are working to get that top secret memo to the White House, where they believe President Trump will declassify it and allow it to be released to the public.

The contents of the memo, according to sources who spoke with Fox News contributor and investigative reporter Sara A. Carter, are so “explosive” they could spell a quick end to special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe of the Trump campaign and transition team.

Gaetz agreed, saying, “I believe that once the American people have the opportunity to evaluate the allegations and claims in this memo, it will become evident the activities of the last administration, the crimes I believe were committed, and the total sham that this Mueller investigation is, built on a false premise and rotten to the core.”

Goofball Adam Schiff doesn’t want ‘explosive’ FISA memo released because he thinks we’re too DUMB to understand it

(National SentinelIgnorance: Reports last week said that not a single Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee voted in favor of releasing an “explosive” FISA memo that Republicans have hinted contains evidence of Obama-era abuse of the secretive FISA court in order to spy on the Trump campaign.

On Saturday during an appearance on CNN, the panel’s ranking member, California Democrat Adam Schiff, attempted to explain his party’s opposition: Americans won’t understand what’s in the memo.

“It is essentially a set of talking points that the Republican Intel staff drafted. Based on the highly classified materials which most of the Republican members were forced to acknowledge,” he said.

“They’ve not even read. So they don’t know how distorted these talking points are. But it’s part of the narrative they want to push out. Interestingly enough, they’ve made common cause once again with Russian bots because Russian bots are pushing their narrative out there,” Schiff added.

“It’s in a redux of the campaign. We have Assange and Wikileaks and Russian trolls and bots saying, you know, hash tag whatever the GOP narrative is. That ought to tell you a lot about what’s driving this,” he said.

Asked why he doesn’t just support release of the memo to the public so that the American people can make up their own minds, Schiff said: “Well, because the American people unfortunately don’t have the underlying materials and therefore they can’t see how distorted and misleading this document is.

“The Republicans are not saying make the underlying materials available to the public. They just want to make this spin available to the public,” he said.

“I think that spin, which is a attack on the FBI, is just designed to attack the FBI and Bob Mueller to circle the wagons for the White House. And that’s a terrible disservice to the people, hard working people at the bureau, but more than that, it’s a disservice to the country,” Schiff claimed.

In a statement to CNN Friday, Schiff slammed the memo, branding it a “profoundly misleading set of talking points drafted by Republican staff attacking the FBI and its handling of the investigation.”

Republicans who have read the memo say differently. They claim it contains explosive evidence indicating that the Obama administration abused the FISA court warrant process, likely in an effort to spy on the Trump campaign — a completely politicization of the U.S. intelligence community and the Department of Justice.

Watch, via Tea Partier:

Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., who has read the memo, said he believes it will not simply lead to people being fired from FBI and DoJ, but that some could be indicted and even jailed at some point.

Gaetz: FISA Memo will PROVE that Mueller investigation is all Trump says it is – a ‘ROTTEN witch hunt’ (Video)

(National SentinelCollusion Hoax: Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz told Fox News host Tucker Carlson Friday evening during his program that the four-page FISA Memo drafted by the House Intelligence Committee contains information that he believes will prove President Donald J. Trump correct about special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia “collusion” probe.

In response to Carlson asking what they memo is such a “big deal,” Gaetz noted, “I believe that once the American people have the opportunity to evaluate the allegations and claims in this memo, it will become evident the activities of the last administration, the crimes I believe were committed, and the total sham that this Mueller investigation is, built on a false premise and rotten to the core, Tucker.”

Last week Circa News investigative reporter and Fox News contributor Sara A. Carter said sources have told her the contents of the memo are so “explosive” they could spell a quick end to Mueller’s probe of the Trump campaign and transition team.

During the same interview, Gaetz predicted that people would be fired and that some will “go to jail.”

“I believe this will not end just with firings. I believe there are people who will go to jail. I was very persuaded by the evidence,” Gaetz told Hannity.

During his interview with Carlson, the host asked why, if the memo contains evidence of lawbreaking, it is illegal for Gaetz and others who have seen its contents to discuss specifics.

Gaetz acknowledged the irony, but said the memo is classified top secret, thus prohibiting members by law from discussion specifics publicly.

More GOP lawmakers DEMAND release of FISA memo: ‘Sickening reality has SET IN’

(National SentinelObamagate: More and more Republican lawmakers are demanding release of a classified “FISA memo” currently held by the House Intelligence Committee many believe will reveal a major Obama-era scandal.

In particular, Republicans believe that the Obama administration politicized U.S. law enforcement and intelligence agencies in an attempt to undermine the presidential campaign of Donald J. Trump.

On Thursday, Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, commented on the memo on Twitter, calling it “sickening.”

“I have read the memo. The sickening reality has set in. I no longer hold out hope there is an innocent explanation for the information the public has seen. I have long said it is worse than Watergate. It was & . ,” he tweeted.

On Thursday, the House Intelligence Committee quietly voted to make available to fellow House members “a memo documenting abuse of the FISA program,” reports Fox News’ Chad Pergram.

Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-N.Y., wants the memo released right away.

“Just read the classified doc re FISA abuse. I’m calling for its immediate public release w/relevant sourced material. The public must have access ASAP! ,” he tweeted.

“Releasing this classified info doesn’t compromise good sources & methods. It reveals the feds’ reliance on bad sources & methods,” added Zeldin.

Meanwhile, Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., said the classified report compiled by the House Intelligence Committee is “deeply troubling,” adding that raises serious questions as it relates to special counsel Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia “collusion” probe.

“The classified report compiled by House Intelligence is deeply troubling and raises serious questions about the upper echelon of the Obama DOJ and Comey FBI as it relates to the so-called collusion investigation.”

He added: “While the report is classified as Top Secret, I believe the select committee should, pursuant to House rules, vote to make the report publicly available as soon as possible. This is a matter of national significance and the American people deserve the truth.”

Bongino: ‘SH*T is about to HIT THE FAN’ for Dems, OBAMA, over ‘devastating’ FISA memo from House Intel Committee

(National SentinelExposure: Former Secret Service agent and conservative pundit Dan Bongino predicted Thursday that things are about to get intense with Democrats over the House Intelligence Committee’s decision to release a “FISA memo” that could expose their party for duplicity in the 2016 election.

Legacy Food Storage

For days some House Republicans have been calling for on the panel to release the classified memo, including Reps. Matt Gaetz of Florida and Lee Zeldin of New York. As noted by Circa News and Fox News contributor Sara Carter, the memo contains “explosive” revelations that could even end special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe of alleged “collusion” between President Donald J. Trump’s campaign and Russian government operatives.

In addition, Bongino forecast that the memo’s contents would also harm the image of former President Barack Obama.

“Take it to the bank, the FBI/FISA docs are devastating for the Dems. The whole image of a benevolent Barack Obama they’ve disingenuously tried to portray is about to be destroyed. The real Obama, the vengeful narcissist, is going to be exposed for all to see,” he tweeted.

Continuing, he added: “My sincere apologies for the expletive but SHIT IS ABOUT TO HIT THE FAN. The former Obama administration’s going to have a lot of explaining to do.”

“Take this check and cash it, the Democrats are in a full blown panic right now over the scandal that’s about to become a nightmare for them. Watch them all scurry like roaches when the lights come on it,” he continued.

“Release the memo and watch the rats run away like the cowards they are. Your mind is about to blown, and your eyes open, to both the power of the federal govt, and the vengefulness of an Obama administration hellbent on destroying Trump,” Bongino said.

For days on his CRTV Podcast, Bongino has been poring over and explaining details of an investigation he and others have launched into the origins and machinations surrounding the so-called “Trump dossier.”

For months many Republicans have speculated that the document, which contains salacious details about the president as well as the central allegation that his campaign colluded with Russia, was used by the FBI to obtain a surveillance warrant from the FISA court so the Obama administration could spy on the Trump campaign.

The dossier’s contents are thus far unsubstantiated and are likely a fabrication, Bongino and others have said. That means the surveillance warrant would have been obtained under a false — and perhaps political — pretense.

Last week, Bongino declared it the “most explosive scandal” that was “about to burst.”

Gowdy to Mueller: ‘Don’t build case’ against TRUMP based on Steve Bannon statements (Video)

(National SentinelUnbelievable: South Carolina Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy on Wednesday said during an interview with Fox News‘ Martha McCallum that former top White House political adviser Steve Bannon has a “credibility problem.”

As such, Gowdy warned special counsel Robert Mueller to avoid using his past criticisms of President Donald J. Trump, his son Donald Jr., and other members of the Trump campaign to build a case against them regarding alleged Russian collusion.

Gowdy was basing his statements on testimony Bannon, former head of Breitbart News, gave to the House Intelligence Committee, on which Gowdy sits, earlier this week.

“I think the only thing dangerous for President Trump or his campaign is credible evidence,” Gowdy said.

“This is the same witness that said there was a zero percent chance that the Russian lawyer wasn’t walked up to Trump, and when he was asked what that evidence was, he came up with nothing,” he added.

“This is the same witness that said that members of the president’s family committed acts of treason,” Gowdy noted further.

“So he’s got a credibility issue. If they’re hinging the entire case on Steve Bannon‘s credibility, good luck to the prosecution.”

Bannon testified for some 10 hours on Tuesday, refusing to answer many of the panel’s questions, much to their chagrin.

At one point, according to one report, Gowdy himself grilled Bannon over why he would say things about the Trump campaign and campaign team to Michael Wolff, author of the highly controversial new book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” but not answer lawmakers’ questions.

Bongino: Trump dossier could be ‘INSURANCE policy’ to cover up ILLEGAL spying on Team Trump (Video)

(National SentinelDirty Deal: Former Secret Service agent and outspoken conservative advocate Dan Bongino said Sunday it is possible that Democrats and the Obama administration created the so-called “Trump dossier” in order to cover up improper spying on the campaign of President Donald J. Trump.

FO-300x250-1

In fact, he said on Fox News, the dossier — the foundation of the “Russian collusion” narrative — may be nothing more than an “insurance policy” to protect key figures.

During his appearance, Bongino was asked about FBI agent Peter Strzok’s comment in a text he sent to FBI lawyer Lisa Page regarding an “insurance policy” to keep Trump out of office.

In mid-December, Fox News reporter Bret Baier tweeted the following: “Text-from Peter Strzok to Lisa Page (Andy is Andrew McCabe): “I want to believe the path u threw out 4 consideration in Andy’s office-that there’s no way he gets elected-but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk. It’s like an insurance policy in unlikely event u die be4 you’re 40.”

The Daily Caller reported further:

Two FBI officials who worked on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation exchanged text messages last year in which they appear to have discussed ways to prevent Donald Trump from being elected president.

During his “Fox & Friends” appearance, Bongino offered his own explanation for what Strzok’s comment really means.

“I think America needs to prepare itself for the idea that this entire thing was a sting against the Trump team the entire time and that the dossier was just cover for it,” he said.

Trump has repeatedly insisted there was no collusion between his campaign and the Russian government. Multiple investigations of the allegation have turned up nothing after more than a year-and-a-half. Congressional committees are still investigating the allegations.

In back-and-forth with reporters at Camp David over the weekend, where Trump spent a retreat with GOP lawmakers, he insisted there is evidence of collusion between the Democratic National Committee, the Hillary Clinton campaign, and operatives within the Obama administration of colluding with Russian sources against the Trump campaign.

“But you guys don’t cover that,” Trump admonished.

The Department of Justice has opened an investigation into the Clinton Foundation’s dealings with foreign donors and others as they relate to the approval of the Uranium One deal, among other things.

The big REVEAL: House panel FINALLY gets Fusion GPS’s financial records

(National SentinelTrump Dossier: The opposition research firm that produced the infamous “dossier” on President Donald J. Trump during his campaign has been forced to turn over bank records to a House panel investigating alleged Russian interference in the  2016 election.

Fusion GPS, which commissioned the dossier, had been fighting in court to stop the House Intelligence Committee from getting ahold of the records. The House panel subpoenaed them months ago.

But on Friday a U.S. district judge ordered the documents delivered to the Intelligence Committee, ending a dramatic court battle that began after the panel began seeking them in October.

Judge Richard Leon on Thursday ruled against Fusion GPS, which had asked for a restraining order preventing its financial institution, TD Bank, from being forced to hand over dozens of documents.

Leon, a George W. Bush appointee, rejected the request and ordered the records turned over.

As reported by The Daily Caller:

At issue were records of 70 financial transactions between some of its clients, two media companies and several journalists and researchers it has paid over the past two years.

The court fight appeared to have ended in late October after Perkins Coie, the law firm that represented the Clinton campaign and DNC, outed itself as the client that hired Fusion GPS to produce the dossier.

Fusion hired former British spy Christopher Steele to author the dossier, which claimed that Russia was colluding with the Trump campaign against Democrat Hillary Clinton. It also made a number of salacious claims about Trump as well.

None of the dossier’s most important claims have been verified.

Republicans have also been attempting to find out if the dossier was used by the Obama-era FBI to launched a counterintelligence investigation against Trump and his campaign, which included electronic surveillance.
