Tucker: Andrew McCabe under DOJ investigation; mentioned in FISA MEMO

(National SentinelScrutiny: Fox News host Tucker Carlson revealed exclusively on his program Monday night that former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, who stepped down from his post earlier in the day yesterday, is under investigation by the Department of Justice.

“We have exclusive new information tonight about one of the most perplexing mysteries in Washington,” Tucker said at the start of his program. “As you may have heard, Andrew McCabe, he’s the deputy director of the FBI, announced today he is leaving his job, and the most obvious question is–why is he doing that? Was he pushed or did he decide to leave himself? Well, you may know McCabe’s name because he’s been in the news repeatedly over the past several years. In 2016, it emerged that McCabe’s wife had taken a large sum of money collected by one of Hillary Clinton’s closest friends.”

Continuing, Carlson said, ”This is significant because McCabe himself helped lead the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email server, you know the one, the investigation in which Clinton was exonerated before she was even interviewed. McCabe never recused himself from that investigation. So was Andrew McCabe fired today, and was that firing a result of information contained in the still famous but still mysterious House Intelligence Committee memo? The one everybody is talking about, but nobody outside of Congress has actually read?

“We decided to spend the day finding out all we could about that memo,” he went on. “We made a lot of calls, we talked to quite a few people who read it. Here’s what we learned.

“The memo which is four pages long, primarily describes abuses of FISA, that’s the law that allows the U.S. government to spy on American citizens for the purpose of stopping foreign threats–and only for that purpose.

“Spying on Americans is supposed to only happen in extraordinary circumstances and of course never for political reasons, that would be a disaster. That’s why we have FISA in the first place, to prevent that from happening,” said the Fox News host. “But that law has been abused, and the memo describes how. Quote: ‘It’s shocking’ says someone we spoke to who has read it. It doesn’t answer every question, it’s not the final word on anything, but there’s definitely enough there for criminal charges.”

“Andrew McCabe is indeed mentioned in the memo, a number of our sources confirmed that to us. Is that the reason he left his job today?” Carlson added. “We couldn’t get a definitive answer on that. It seems the memo likely played some part in his leaving, but in the course of our reporting, we learned something else, from the source. McCabe is the subject of at least one internal DOJ investigation, maybe more than one. DOJ inspector general Michael Horowitz has been investigating politically motivated behavior at the bureau during the 2016 election. One source told us that McCabe’s resignation is likely tied to Horowitz’s work.”

Horowitz was scheduled to appear before Congress on Tuesday to discuss the FBI’s mishandling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation, but he canceled.

Carlson and Coulter DESTROY establishment media MYTH that ‘America LOVES Dreamers!’

(National SentinelLegal Immigration: On Tucker Carlson’s Fox News program Friday night, he and conservative author, pundit and lawyer Ann Coulter discussed and debunked statistics widely cited by the ‘mainstream’ media that most Americans support so-called “Dreamers” — illegal immigrants brought into the country by their parents.

Slamming “phony polls” that purport to show that most Americans back liberal immigration policies, Carlson noted that many lawmakers, including a sizable percentage of Republicans, seemingly ignore Americans’ concerns on the issue.

“There’s a deeper question about democracy here,” Tucker said.

“So, if the public has been clear in poll after poll about what it wants and what it doesn’t want on the question of immigration, and it went to the trouble of electing Donald Trump against all odds and all predictions, just to express that view, and it still can’t get what it demonstrably wants in immigration, is it possible for the public to have a say in this?”

“No, it’s amazing. I mean, it is beyond what you just described,” Coulter noted, as reported by The Daily Caller

“I was looking through Nexis transcripts today. The fact that Donald Trump is president–it was utterly implausible. It’s like a Hollywood movie. And this isn’t the first time,” she continued.

“You keep hearing these phony polls being being cited by the media, showing that American love Dreamers! They love them! Just like that one you interviewed, who couldn’t love her? They love them!”

She went onto note that recent polling indicates that a majority of Americans want less immigration — legal and illegal. Recently, the Trump administration “distributed a Harvard-Harris poll that showed Americans generally approve of the president’s immigration plan, believe people should enter legally, and that those who are allowed in should contribute to American life in a positive way,” the Washington Examiner reported.

“…[E]very time they have an actual ballot, every time, for 20 years now, [Americans] will vote against bail for illegals, against government services for illegals, they’ll vote for Donald Trump, they’ll vote for English as the national language,” said Coulter, author of several top-selling books including one on immigration called, “Adios, America.”

“This Harvard poll that just came out that shows more Americans would like zero immigration than our current immigration policy. But the way they pull off these phony polls, is by, I mean, I didn’t need to read Saul Alinsky to know this is not a good way to take a poll–they personalize it,” Coulter continued.

“They say do you want to support Juanita the maid? They make it about a specific person. No, I want questions like ‘Do you want more or less immigration?’ ‘Do you think people who break the law should be able to become citizens and start collecting welfare right away?’ ‘Do you think we should we be dumping millions of low-wage workers on the country?’”

Coulter then noted recent reports indicating that President Donald J. Trump may be supportive of a plan that gives many so-called DACA recipients -a slow but sure path to citizenship.

“Which is going to come back–I mean, Trump thinks he’s a genius and in some ways he is,” Coulter said. “He has an uncanny sense for what are popular issues, that’s why he won. He may be able to roll over the never-Trumpers, but if he continues down this line, former-Trumpers may be a much more difficult category for him.”

“We need an immigration time-out so we can assimilate those who are here, like we did throughout much of the 20th century,” editor-in-chief J. D. Heyes said.

Gowdy: ‘FIX was IN’ to clear HILLARY no matter what she did, as newly released texts PROVE

(National SentinelExonerate: During a Thursday evening appearance on Fox News‘ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said newly revealed texts between anti-Trump FBI officials Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page show that “the fix was in” to clear Hillary Clinton of any wrongdoing involving her mishandling of classified information.

In a text released to the public, Page, in reference to Clinton, wrote to Strzok, “One more thing: she might be our next president. The last thing you need us going in there loaded for bear. You think she’s going to remember or care that it was more doj than fbi?”

He responded, “I called Bill and relayed what we discussed. He agrees. I will email you and [redacted] same” — in which he appears to be saying he contacted Hillary’s husband, former President Bill Clinton, about the case.

The messages were exchanged during the FBI’s investigation of Clinton’s use of an unsecured private email server while serving as Obama’s secretary of state.

“This, I think is the unvarnished truth of how they viewed both her, him and the investigation and how they wanted it to turn out,” Gowdy said.

“Keep in mind, Tucker, all of this is done before she was ever interviewed. So the fix was in. Unfortunately, before they even interviewed the target of the investigation.”

Tucker responded: “What does it tell you about what they thought of Hillary Clinton? They believed, if she became president she would punish our chief law enforcement agency for investigating her. What does that say about their view of her? Or their understanding of her?”

It’s either that, or I think another reasonable construction is she’d award the DOJ, thinking it was more DOJ lawyers that concluded she should not be charged as opposed to the FBI,” Gowdy said.

“And that’s actually how I read it–that she would give more credit to the Department of Justice–you know, keep in mind, reading these texts, it doesn’t appear that anyone wanted her charged, before they even know what she was going to say.

“I read that to be, they were concerned the DOJ would get the credit for taking care of her more than the bureau would,” he said.

Tucker DEFENDS Trump over ‘s**thole’ comment: ‘They’re pretty crummy countries’

(National SentinelPlaying Defense: On his Thursday night program, Fox News host Tucker Carlson discussed President Donald J. Trump’s tough comments during negotiations with lawmakers over immigration reform, in which he made reference to “shithole countries” where many migrants to the U.S. have come from in recent years, mostly following natural disasters.

Carlson spoke with Jose Parra, the Latin communications director for former President Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, saying he had visited Haiti and as such, does not get why people were offend by Trump’s accurate characterization, The Daily Caller reported.

“The idea that you are not allowed to say that they’re pretty crummy countries, Haiti for example or El Salvador, I’ve been in both of them — that’s why people are leaving them to come here,” Carlson said. “So I don’t understand what the sin is. You’re not allowed to point out that other countries aren’t as good places to live as America?”

“I think the outrage here is about the insult and the expletive that is attached to the people who come from these countries,” Parra responded.

Carlson noted that the reason why so many people from the nations Trump reportedly mentioned flock to the U.S. precisely because their own countries are impoverished, crime-ridden, corrupt, and devoid of opportunity.

“The people who left those countries, some of them rode trains all the way through Mexico or they hid in the wheel well of a plane to leave, they would agree with that. So why the outrage?” he asked. “You have to lie and pretend.”

“We’ve gotten to a place where no one can be honest about anything,” Carlson added.

The host noted that even the United Nations has described Norway as the world’s most developed nation, and Haiti as the world’s poorest.

Trump reportedly cited Haiti as one of the “shithole” countries, while telling lawmakers the U.S. should seek out more immigrants from Norway — comments his critics claim were racist.

“People are actually staying  in this country right now legally because Haiti is so bad, we don’t think they should have to return,” Carlson said.

“So if you say Norway is a better place to live, and Haiti is kind of a hole — anyone who has been to those countries or has lived in them would agree. But we’re jumping up and down — ‘Oh you can’t say that’ — why can’t you say that?” he asked.

Perra said it was a “question of values,” the accused Carlson — and Trump — of attaching negative connotations to people who come from “predominately brown countries.”

The host responded by noting that his, and the president’s, description of Haiti was accurate, then blamed liberal media like MSNBC for turning Trump’s comments into racism.

“If you can’t even say that out loud without being called a racist by people like you and the morons over on MSNBC … anybody who says that’s a racist statement should explain how it is, and you can’t,” Carlson said.

“We overwhelmingly give advantage to very poor countries and it’s an honest question, not a racist one.”

Tucker Carlson schools Buzzfeed editor Ben Smith over publication of BOGUS dossier: ‘You ran this because it was TRUMP’ (Video)

(National SentinelMedia Mishaps: On his Wednesday night program, Fox News host Tucker Carlson interviewed Buzzfeed editor Ben Smith on the one-year anniversary of his publication of the debunked Trump dossier, which he defended as being in the public’s interest.

Carlson asked Smith to comment in regards to a lawsuit filed by President Donald J. Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, who was named in the dossier as having traveled to the Czech Republic to meet with Russian officials — a trip Cohen says he never made, which has since been substantiated.

The dossier itself is a document of kind of obvious central public importance,” Smith said Wednesday. “That was clear a year ago. It’s actually a lot clearer now. Before we published it, as we knew then, important elected officials intelligence agencies were investigating this document.”

For his part, Carlson said that Smith, as a journalist, should never have published the dossier without first verifying it.

“You see a lot of stuff that you don’t pass on, because you don’t know if it’s true. And the words hang in the air and you libel someone in effect, so you don’t run it,” Carlson said. “But you did run this, because it was Trump.”

Smith stood by his decision to publish the dossier and said that he believes recent media coverage vindicated his decision.

“But you’re making a retroactive argument,” Carlson responded. “You’re arguing, ‘well okay it’s at the center of news, so we were right a year ago to run it.’ And I’m actually not even attacking you for running it, I would just like you to acknowledge partisanship played a role.”

Carlson added that had Smith obtained information that appeared damaging to President Obama, he would never have run it.

“If you came across a dossier in the middle of the Obama administration that laid out in some detail how he was born in Kenya and had a weird personal life, you would never run that. Because you would be attacked by every one of your friends,” Tucker said, laughing.

“The truth is this stuff was unverified a year ago, it remains unverified,” Carlson added. “We are no closer to proving that [Trump] collaborated with the Russian government.”

Cohen is not the only person suing Buzzfeed for defamation. Lawsuits have also been filed by Russian technology firms named in the dossier, and former low-level Trump campaign official Carter Page has also filed suit against Yahoo and HuffPo over allegedly libelous allegations regarding contact with Russian operatives.

Tucker Carlson to Trump: ‘Not allowed to blow’ DACA, overhaul of ENTIRE immigration system

(National SentinelImmigration Reformed: On his Tuesday evening program, Fox News host Tucker Carlson took President Donald Trump to task for appearing to agree to an immigration bill that would allow DACA recipients a clear path to citizenship, in exchange for nothing from Democrats who are pushing for that very thing.

“Congress is full of people from both parties who believe that the point of our immigration policy is to provide cheap labor to their donors and to atone for America’s imaginary sins against the world,” Carlson said.

“They couldn’t care less about immigration’s effect on you or your family–these are the same people the president now says he trusts to write the immigration bill, the one he will sign no matter what it says. So what was the point of running for president?”

Continuing, the Fox News host noted, “You will remember the president also ran on his skills as a negotiator, and he clearly has skills as a negotiator. But where were they today?

“The president signaled he’d be happy to legalize hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants now and that at some point in the future tackle all that other stuff like making sure they can’t bring millions of their relatives from the third world along with them. That’s not much of a negotiation,” he said.

“Amnesty for DACA recipients is the only leverage the White House has. Once the president agrees to let them jump to the head of the line, ahead of millions of other people hoping to come here legally, the negotiation is over,” Carlson added. “At that point, why would Democrats agree to anything? Ending chain migration, the diversity lottery, supporting a merit based system that might actually help America? No chance.”

The hosted noted further, “The Democrats’ goal is to import more Democratic voters, and by any means necessary. Once they retake the Congress and the presidency, and if Trump betrays his base on immigration–that’ll definitely happen–it is over.

“Say goodbye to borders, they are done. Keep in mind that the top Democrat in the house recently thanked illegal aliens for sneaking into this country. That’s how Democrats feel and they’re not pretending anymore,” he said.

Carlson then used a baseball analogy to describe what it means to be a supporter of the president.

Being a Trump voter isn’t always easy, it’s like rooting for the underdog in baseball, the old Chicago Cubs. On one level there is pride, the pride that comes from doing something that fashionable people consider insane, and that’s a good feeling.

“But there’s also some disappointment along the way and honestly, there is some embarrassment,” he continued. “But you silently bear it because you know that when they finally win the World Series it will be worth everything you went through. Every sarcastic dig from your brother-in-law at Thanksgiving will seem small by comparison. In the Trump presidency, the World Series is this immigration bill.

“It’s the big payoff, the whole point of the exercise, and they’re not allowed to blow it,” he concluded.

Tucker Carlson warns: ‘Caving to Dems on immigration is suicide for GOP’

(National SentinelImmigration ‘Reformed’: On his Friday evening program, Fox News host Tucker Carlson had a blunt warning for majority Republicans in Congress: Siding with Democrats to legalize hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens would amount to political “suicide.”

During his program, Carlson reviewed several proposals made by GOP lawmakers on how best to handle illegal aliens who are currently protected from deportation under former President Obama’s “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals” policy, or DACA.

President Donald J. Trump rescinded the executive order in September but gave Congress six months to produce legislation dealing with those in the U.S. who qualified under the program.

Among the proposals now being offered by Republicans is an expansion of amnesty that opponents like Carlson say will be a death knell for the party.

“A number of Republican senators are prepared to cave completely to Democrats on this question agreeing to amnesty with no serious concessions in return,” Carlson said.

“One proposal would simply delay chain migration rather than ending it while expanding the scope of the amnesty for DACA recipients and reallocating the diversity lottery visas to a different class of unskilled immigrants,” he said.

“Not only would a deal like that hurt the country, voters have said very clearly, again and again, they don’t want it. And this is a democracy after all or at least it was.”

Carlson said if Republicans did not listen to voters on this issue, they are “toast.”

“You have to listen to what voters want if you are a lawmaker. If you see that kind of deal come out of Congress, and you may, the Republican Party is done, it’s over, it’s toast. It will be a short epitaph too, suicide,” he added.

Other conservative pundits including Fox News host Laura Ingraham and author/columnist Ann Coulter have warned Republicans against passage of another amnesty program.

A number of conservatives believe one of the major reasons why Trump defeated Hillary Clinton was his pledge to enforce all immigration laws and to reduce illegal immigration.

Tucker Carlson EXCORIATES hateful Dem Rep. Keith Ellison: ‘Long history of saying repugnant things’

(National SentinelAccountable: During his Thursday evening Fox News broadcast, host Tucker Carlson of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” used his opening segment to criticize the “long history” of Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison saying “repugnant things.”

Ellison “has a long history of saying repugnant things and backing extremist causes,” The Daily Caller co-founder stated.

“Back in 1989, Ellison wrote that the Constitution existed only for white people. He referred to it as ‘their’ Constitution, calling it ‘the best evidence of a white racist conspiracy to subjugate other peoples.’ That’s the Constitution of the United States,” the host continued.

“Ellison has spoken favorably, meanwhile, of cop killer Assata Shakur. He said he was ‘praying’ that Fidel Castro’s communist regime in Cuba would not be forced to extradite her back to the United States,” Carlson went on.

Most recently, he noted that Ellison tweeted a selfie as he held a book, “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook,” claiming it will “strike fear in the heart” of President Donald J. Trump.

“Why would that book strike fear in the heart of the president of the United States?” Carlson asked. “Well, maybe because that book advocates for political violence against people like Donald Trump and his supporters.”

“As a law student at the University of Minnesota, Ellison wrote a column calling for the creation of a separate black ethnostate. This is the man that is now second in command of the entire Democratic party. Now that ought to bother Republicans and Independents,” said the Fox News host.

“It should terrify Democrats. Most voters don’t support cop killing, racial separatism, political violence, abolishing freedom of speech, and they tend to flee from politicians and parties that do support those things,” he added.

WOW: Fox News’ Tucker Carlson posts ‘Never-Before-Seen’ CRIME STATS for ILLEGAL aliens (Video)

(National SentinelDispelling Myths: On his Thursday night program, Fox News host Tucker Carlson presented what he said were “never-before-seen” statistics indicating that illegal aliens commit far more crimes than previously known.

Carlson began the segment by recounting an argument that Democratic politicians often make in supporting unlimited immigration, legal or illegal, and recounted how liberals claim non-citizens commit less crime than U.S. citizens.

“They are your superiors,” he said, mockingly.

Then Carlson began presenting a list of statistics he said he never been presented to the American public to support his position.

“According to statistics from the U.S. Sentencing Commission, non-citizens are actually far more likely to commit serious crimes than Americans are,” said Carlson.

For instance, he said, “Non-citizens account for 22 percent, more than a fifth of all federal murder convictions.”

Also, they account for “18 percent of fraud convictions” and “33 percent of money laundering convictions,” added Carlson.

Illegal aliens are also responsible for “29 percent of drug trafficking convictions and 72 percent of convictions for drug possession.”

“Meanwhile, the non-citizen percentage of the American people? About 7 percent,” he added.

In summing up the newly released statistics, the Fox News host said this is a “massively disproportionate” amount of crime committed by illegal aliens.

“Why have so many people been lying to us for so long? That’s a question we plan to ask a whole bunch of people,” Carlson said.

Tucker Carlson says ‘no reason to be optimistic’ about Trump’s DACA deal with Dems

(National Sentinel) DACA Dreamers: President Donald J. Trump’s deal with Democrats regarding legislation to reinstate President Obama’s DACA protections for so-called “Dreamers” — illegal aliens brought to the U.S. as children by their parents — isn’t going over well with many of his usual supporters, including Fox News‘ Tucker Carlson.

red-alert-FO-160x600According to Carlson, the deal would give legal status to 800,000 illegal aliens and Trump would not get any of the things he advocated on immigration during the 2016 presidential campaign — like his pledge to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, which Trump said he’ll get later.

“Last night, at a dinner with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, President Trump apparently hammered out the framework to a deal that would protect 800,000 illegal aliens now covered under DACA from being deported. They will get to stay, and under current law, so will millions of their relatives,” Carlson said in his opening monologue.

“It would be a massive amnesty, one of the biggest ever granted in American history. This is thrilling news for Democrats and for open borders advocates everywhere. In return for this concession, the president receives nothing — no reduction in overall immigration totals, no tightened restriction on foreign workers who take jobs from Americans, no e-Verify to prevent illegal immigrants working under the table, no end to chain migration,” he said. “The president isn’t even getting a border wall, though he insisted he will somehow get one later, possibly.”

He then played a clip of Trump interacting with reporters, in which he said: “At some point they’re going to have to. They cannot obstruct the wall. The wall, to me, is vital. If I don’t get the wall, then we will become the obstruction.”

Tucker continued: “The president seems confident it will work out in the end, but there’s no reason to be optimistic. The fate of DACA recipients is, by far, the biggest piece of leverage he has or he ever will have. If he gives it away for free, none of his other immigration priorities, the priorities he ran on and won the presidency with will be considered.

“All those border security measures we keep hearing about? They’re ridiculous. They mean nothing. They haven’t worked and in any case, they’ll be rolled back instantly the next time a Democratic president wins,” he said. “If this president doesn’t get funding for a wall now, it will never be built, period.

“The Democratic Party has no interest in halting the flow of illegal immigrants no matter how much it might hurt Americans who already live here. They’ve done the math. Democrats lost in 2016 because our middle class rejected them,” Carlson added.

He also noted that GOP leadership — most notably House Speaker Paul Ryan of Wisconsin — has historically been opposed to reining in illegal immigration.

“In the mid-1990s, Congress came close to passing legislation that would have included powerful barriers to illegal immigration and lower levels of legal immigration. Paul Ryan, then a staffer for Sam Brownback of Kansas, wrote a series of letters to other lawmakers that helped kill that bill. There is no reason to believe he has changed at all,” said the Fox News host.

“Earlier this year, we had Speaker Ryan on this show and he assured us the House would be working hard to fund the border wall. That was a lie, and not the only one the GOP leadership is told its voters.

“Borders are real. Citizenship matters. America comes first. If you can’t say any of that with a straight face and mean it and act on it, maybe you are in the wrong party,” he concluded.

Gowdy slams Dems who suggest ‘evidence’ of Trump-Russia ‘collusion’ as ‘reckless,’ ‘baseless’

(National SentinelCongress: Newly-minted chairman of the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee, Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., hit back at Democrats on Capitol Hill who continue to suggest, despite no evidence, that President Donald J. Trump did something nefarious with the Russians.

Organic-Storable-Food-Supply-MR“There are members of both the House and the Senate who [say] ‘I’ve seen evidence that is more than circumstantial, but not direct,'” Gowdy told Fox News‘ Tucker Carlson. “There is no way it can be more than circumstantial but not direct.”

He called them “reckless, baseless allegations.”

Gowdy, who also serves on the House intelligence committee investigating possible connections between Russian officials and members of the Trump campaign, said a member of that committee “said this week that he has seen evidence [but] he can’t tell us what it is [and] it’s not beyond a reasonable doubt.

“There’s no way to defend yourself against those kinds of baseless, reckless accusations,” he added.

He was very likely referring to the Intelligence Committee’s out-of-control ranking member, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., who told ABC‘s “This Week” that “I think there is evidence” of Trump colluding with Moscow.

“I can’t go into the particulars of our closed investigation,” Schiff said, “but I also think there is evidence of obstruction [of justice]. But in both cases, I would say, whether there is some evidence doesn’t mean there is proof beyond a reasonable doubt.”

The obstruction case Democrats think they have has been debunked time and again by real constitutional experts. And as for the never-ending Russia probe, Democrats need it to continue so they can keep the support of their own unhinged base, whom they have all but promised Trump’s impeachment over these alleged ‘crimes.’

Gowdy also said that the “hyper-focus” so-called ‘collusion,’ which is just a very small portion of the House’s Russia investigation, can be blamed squarely on the far-Left media establishment.

He also said the House is looking at these things: Active Russian interference (a subset of that is the collusion angle); the U.S. response (which would have been the Obama administration’s responsibility); and the leaks and unmasking of Americans caught up in foreign surveillance.
