James Woods NAILS Chelsea Clinton after she dares to lecture POTUS Trump over HAITI

(National SentinelTwitter War: President Donald J. Trump took heat late last week from the media over comments he allegedly made about Haiti and other poor countries in discussions with lawmakers about an immigration reform bill.

Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., claimed to media that Trump called Haiti a “sh*thole” and wondered aloud why the U.S. did not seek out immigrants from more successful countries.

The alleged remark earned the president a rebuke from former first daughter Chelsea Clinton.

“Mr. President, immigrants from El Salvador, Haiti and the 54 countries in Africa likely helped build your buildings. They’ve certainly helped build our country. cc @POTUS,” she tweeted.

Several credible reports have noted that money collected via the Clinton Foundation specifically for Haiti relief was misappropriated and even used to help fund Chelsea’s $3 million wedding.

That included up to $10 million that was supposed to go to build 500 homes that never got built. Documents found by government watchdog group Judicial Watch also noted that as secretary of state, Hillary Clinton essentially outsourced all U.S. aid to Haiti following a massive earthquake in 2010 to the foundation, which her husband, Bill Clinton, then directed largely to foundation donors.

Chelsea’s comments prompted a quick response from actor James Woods.

“Tell your dad, the bagman, to give the dough back to Haiti that you all pocketed. Then maybe we can discuss this other malarkey you’re trying to peddle,” he tweeted.

Many Haitians living in the U.S. have also been critical of the Clintons and the manner in which aid funds were distributed — or not, in some cases.

“The Clinton family, they are crooks, they are thieves, they are liars,” Haitian activist Dahoud Andre told the BBC in November 2016, just a few days before the presidential election.

Kim Ives, editor of Haiti Liberte newspaper, told the BBC: “A lot of Haitians are not big fans of the Clintons, that’s for sure.”

Tucker DEFENDS Trump over ‘s**thole’ comment: ‘They’re pretty crummy countries’

(National SentinelPlaying Defense: On his Thursday night program, Fox News host Tucker Carlson discussed President Donald J. Trump’s tough comments during negotiations with lawmakers over immigration reform, in which he made reference to “shithole countries” where many migrants to the U.S. have come from in recent years, mostly following natural disasters.

Carlson spoke with Jose Parra, the Latin communications director for former President Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, saying he had visited Haiti and as such, does not get why people were offend by Trump’s accurate characterization, The Daily Caller reported.

“The idea that you are not allowed to say that they’re pretty crummy countries, Haiti for example or El Salvador, I’ve been in both of them — that’s why people are leaving them to come here,” Carlson said. “So I don’t understand what the sin is. You’re not allowed to point out that other countries aren’t as good places to live as America?”

“I think the outrage here is about the insult and the expletive that is attached to the people who come from these countries,” Parra responded.

Carlson noted that the reason why so many people from the nations Trump reportedly mentioned flock to the U.S. precisely because their own countries are impoverished, crime-ridden, corrupt, and devoid of opportunity.

“The people who left those countries, some of them rode trains all the way through Mexico or they hid in the wheel well of a plane to leave, they would agree with that. So why the outrage?” he asked. “You have to lie and pretend.”

“We’ve gotten to a place where no one can be honest about anything,” Carlson added.

The host noted that even the United Nations has described Norway as the world’s most developed nation, and Haiti as the world’s poorest.

Trump reportedly cited Haiti as one of the “shithole” countries, while telling lawmakers the U.S. should seek out more immigrants from Norway — comments his critics claim were racist.

“People are actually staying  in this country right now legally because Haiti is so bad, we don’t think they should have to return,” Carlson said.

“So if you say Norway is a better place to live, and Haiti is kind of a hole — anyone who has been to those countries or has lived in them would agree. But we’re jumping up and down — ‘Oh you can’t say that’ — why can’t you say that?” he asked.

Perra said it was a “question of values,” the accused Carlson — and Trump — of attaching negative connotations to people who come from “predominately brown countries.”

The host responded by noting that his, and the president’s, description of Haiti was accurate, then blamed liberal media like MSNBC for turning Trump’s comments into racism.

“If you can’t even say that out loud without being called a racist by people like you and the morons over on MSNBC … anybody who says that’s a racist statement should explain how it is, and you can’t,” Carlson said.

“We overwhelmingly give advantage to very poor countries and it’s an honest question, not a racist one.”

Trump tweets following ‘s**thole’ comment: ‘My duty is to protect the COUNTRY’

(National Sentinel) Owning It: President Donald J. Trump on Friday owned up to tough language he used earlier this week during negotiations with lawmakers regarding an immigration bill, saying that Democrats are not being reasonable in their negotiations with him and Republicans.

“The language used by me at the DACA meeting was tough, but this was not the language used. What was really tough was the outlandish proposal made – a big setback for DACA!” the president tweeted, in reference to the Obama-era Deferred Action on Childhood Arrivals program he has rescinded.

The president, among other things, wants to end chain migration, a broken immigration lottery system, and importation of migrants from some of the world’s poorest countries.

“The so-called bipartisan DACA deal presented yesterday to myself and a group of Republican Senators and Congressmen was a big step backwards. Wall was not properly funded, Chain & Lottery were made worse and USA would be forced to take large numbers of people from high crime countries which are doing badly,” he tweeted,

“I want a merit based system of immigration and people who will help take our country to the next level. I want safety and security for our people. I want to stop the massive inflow of drugs. I want to fund our military, not do a Dem defund,” he added.

“Because of the Democrats not being interested in life and safety, DACA has now taken a big step backwards. The Dems will threaten ‘shutdown,’ but what they are really doing is shutting down our military, at a time we need it most. Get smart, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” the president said.

Politicians from both parties, the establishment media, and leaders from around the world have reacted negatively to comments Trump reportedly made during discussions with Democrats in the White House.

‘Why are we having all these people from s***hole countries come here?” Trump reportedly said at one point, as Democrats pushed him to reverse plans to end “Temporary Protected Status” for migrants from nations like Nicaragua, Haiti and El Salvador who came here — some more than a decade ago — following natural disasters.

Others defended the president. Fox News host Jesse Watters said that’s how the “forgotten men and women” of America talk.

Trump admin ending temporary resident status for 60,000 Haitians; Gives them 18 months to go home

(National SentinelImmigration Reform: The Trump administration has issued a new ruling regarding a residency program that has granted Haitian citizens temporary residency status in the United States since 2010.

Tuesday, the administration announced that the program will be terminated in July 2019.

Haitians had been given temporary residency status in the U.S. after the devastating 2010 earthquake. The ruling will affect about 60,000 citizens of the Caribbean nation.

“Since the 2010 earthquake, the number of displaced people in Haiti has decreased by 97 percent,” acting Homeland Security secretary Elaine Duke said in a statement.

“Significant steps have been taken to improve the stability and quality of life for Haitian citizens, and Haiti is able to safely receive traditional levels of returned citizens,” Duke said.

“Haiti has also demonstrated a commitment to adequately prepare for when the country’s TPS designation is terminated,” she added.

Duke noted that giving the Haitians 18 months to return home will allow for an “orderly transition,” and give them time to “arrange their departure” while their government prepares for their arrival.

There are more than 300,000 non-citizens who have been given Temporary Protected Status so they can remain legally in the U.S.

The designation was created in 1990 in order to protect individuals from being deported if armed conflict or natural disasters made returning to their homelands precarious or dangerous.

The Haitian decision isn’t the first time the Trump administration has rescinded the TPS designation.

Earlier in November, the administration gave some 2,500 citizens of Nicaragua 14 months to return home. At the same time, Duke deferred action on about 57,000 Hondurans.

FO-300x250-1Citizens of both those countries had been granted TPS after a hurricane hit their countries in 1998.

Members of Congress, including Republicans, said they opposed the decision to send the Haitians back.

“I traveled to Haiti after the earthquake in 2010 and after hurricane Matthew in 2016. So I can personally attest that Haiti is not prepared to take back nearly 60,000 TPS recipients under these difficult and harsh conditions,” said Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Fla.

But immigration reform advocates said it was time.

Dan Stein, president of the Federation for American Immigration Reform, said the step was “long overdue.”

“The notion that this would be reflexively renewed again and again is a corruption of the entire concept,” said Stein.

“It’s not a refugee program or an immigration program,” he said. “It’s supposed to be reviewed and it’s supposed to be temporary.”
